I took my other half to Matthew's Kitchen to celebrate her birthday, with our 6-year old son in tow. It was our first time dining at the restaurant, having driven past many times and vowing to give it a try, and can confidently say that we had a great experience. We were warmly greeted at the entrance, and the service was impeccable throughout the meal. The food itself was delicious. We had the galcian-style octopus and croquettes for starters - both very tasty, with the octopus standing out. We both had the roasted monkfish tail, which was cooked to perfection, whilst our son enjoyed the fish and chips from the kids menu. Overall, a fantastic seafood restaurant and we'll look forward to going back - am eager to try out the seafood bisque next time!
