The Plough is a good local, the food is tasty with a reasonably wide choice and the service is good without being intrusive. I liked the Gin of the Week initiative!

A typical traditional country pub,full of character inside and serving excellent food. If you always order the same thing why not try something different, the menu has several suprise unique dishes.

Absolutely lovely meal.

Absolutely superb, food was tasty and fresh, we had prawn salad and Greek skewers for starters, followed by ham, egg and chips, couldn’t fault it, can’t wait for our next visit, staff were lovely and helpful, full marks.

This was my 2nd time visiting and again, wasn't disappointed. A nice warm welcome upon arrival and seated quickly. It was busy when we arrived but the service didn't slip. Food was full of flavour and was served quickly. We both had the steak which just melted in your mouth! Price was, I think, a little above average but we'll worth it and from what I could see, there were offers on during the week to make it more affordable. Will definitely be returning

Lovely food and very friendly staff

We visited on Sunday and found the staff to be friendly and helpful .We chose to have the Sunday Lunch There was plenty of meat and a nice choice of vegetables .my only criticism is that is was served luke warm apart from the roast potatoes which were hot .

My friend and i visited The Plough on Chippy Tuesday. We both had Scampi, Chips and Mushy Peas. Food was excellent and fantastic value at £10! The staff were very friendly and service was great ecen though they were busy.

Main was lovely and staff was friendly, polite Dessert I would say was over priced for what size you got and definitely wasn’t home made, ice cream was cheap too, disappointed as the main was very good

Excellent food in a unique style setting. We dine there approx every 6 weeks and have never been disapointed . Service is friendly and prices are on the the good side of reasonable . location and outside seating are first class , inside seating layout is well spaced throughout. Great selection of "proper beer" as well.

This was our first lunchtimes visit to The Plough. Just as good as our previous evening visit. Very pleasant staff and good food at a reasonable price. A very pleasant dining experience, well worth seeking out.
