The Queens Head – OswestryHad a great Sunday lunch here yesterday (26th May). Food delicious and staff very friendly and professional.
The Queens Head – OswestryHad a lovely Sunday lunch at the Queens Head. We were unexpectedly early for our booking (over an hour) and the ladies were very accommodating and seated us even though the place was very busy. The food was lovely, I had the belly pork and my friend had the roast beef and the portions were large! We happily eyed up all the lovely desserts coming from the kitchen but when it came to it we were to full to have one! Lovely atmosphere and super friendly and helpful staff. I'd highly recommend.
The Queens Head – OswestryEnjoyed two very nice meals here in April/May. Good selection of food and service was good. Will be returning in September when we stay at Winston Farm Lodges again.
The Queens Head – OswestryWe had a nice welcome and we're quickly shown to our yable in the conservatory. The menu was good with so much to choice from. My sister had the duck and cherry sauce, which she said was beautiful. I had the gammon. It was juicy and well cooked, as was my sister's. We both enjoyed our meals
The Queens Head – OswestryWe brought some friends visiting from USA to the Queens head for lunch as we knew they would appreciate a good meal. We were not disappointed - everything was delicious; beef brisket was tender and so tasty , the curry was spot on, the omelette was light and fluffy, and the fish was perfect. Highly recommend , especially if you are gluten free as the majority of the menu is/can be made gf. Never been glutened eating here.

The Queens Head – OswestryLovely friendly pub, the staff are so helpful and nothing is too much. Proper homemade food prepared and cooked on site and all fresh. The portions sizes are enormous considering the low affordable costs. Will definitely return again.
The Fox Inn – OswestryNote that Wynnstay is a common name for hotels and hostelries around here. This one is NOT in the heart of Oswestry.
Wynnstay Arms Hotel – OswestryFavourite pub in Oswestry. A proper real ale place with good beer and a good but small menu. The very low ceilings and stained glass give it a lot of character.
The Fox Inn – OswestryLovely grand old hotel right in the heart of Oswestry. An old 17th century coaching in. We used it as a base to explore the area and the pool/spa was perfect for my son. We had a great spacious room above the spa.
Wynnstay Arms Hotel – OswestryIts the best casual dining option in Oswestry. Good simple Italian food that is kid friendly. We enjoyed our pizzas and my Chianti by the glass was very pleasant.
Prezzo – OswestryThis is a beautiful special and party events venue right in the heart of Oswestry. There is plenty of parking just paces from the entrance.
