The White Hart – PenzanceLovely old traditional pub. Very good service and food
The White Hart – PenzanceWent for a meal on Saturday 30th March. Food was delicious. We had prawn chilli linguine, Thai fish burger and the Thai fish cakes. The food was hot , fresh and delicious. Loads of prawns in the linguine and the portion size was good, a opportunity to have a piece of garlic bread would of enhanced the dish but that’s a very small item and does not detract from the quality of the food. The fish cakes were very tasty and made a lovely meal with a portion of chips and the salad garnish was so fresh and really tasty. The fish burger with the mango mayonnaise was lovely and different from the usual. The chips were lovely. Hot and a very good portion size. We did not have the onion rings but saw them being served and they looked fantastic. Home made and a really great size of rings. The night we attended there was a gin and jazz event so the atmosphere was very relaxed and the duo singing the jazz was excellent. The drinks were plentiful and a great selection of gin and tonics were available with the sever giving great advice on gin types and the different tonics. Highly recommend the place for food or just a drink. We will be returning.
The White Hart – PenzanceA lovely 13th century country pub full of locals on a Friday evening. Great character and atmosphere. The food was plentiful and delicious. Cheery landlord. Altogether a lovely evening!
The White Hart – PenzanceHave been going frequently for Sunday roast and never disappointed.Very good food, service and atmosphere.Interesting building and completely unspoilt hopefully it will stay that way.Thank you.
The White Hart – PenzanceWe were a group of 7 ladies meeting for lunch. The staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. All of us enjoyed our meal which was very good and we will be returning.
The White Hart – PenzanceWent for Mother's Day lunch. Service could have been better, I think everyone was very flustered with the volume of people and it could have been slightly better organised. Food was average. Would not rush back for a Sunday roast in all honesty. Shame as it has lots of potential and could make a real name for itself and locals with a good roast dinner.
The White Hart – PenzanceWent here for a meal and sing-a-long to the Trelawney Shout this week. The pies and mash were outstanding and the chicken supreme gorgeous. Lovely service and great food. May become a favourite place to go.

The White Hart – PenzanceStopped by for lunch and we're already planning to go back for an evening meal. The food was fantastic, the pub is a lovely traditional old place. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Excellent service. Couldn't fault it. It was one of those menus where you want everything.
The White Hart – PenzanceLovely pub, great food and ales. Highly recommend.
The White Hart – PenzanceExcellent all round.
The White Hart – PenzanceWe had an absolutely amazing meal. We had the Xmas menu 3 course meal and it was probably one of the most delicious meals out we’ve all had in a long time . Already booked in again!
The White Hart – PenzanceWe were looking for somewhere to take an elderly friend for Sunday Roast and were recommended The White Hart by friends who had recently visited. So we booked. The food was excellent, I had gammon and my wife had turkey. Everything was cooked to perfection, lovely Yorkshire pudding and superb roast potatoes. Our table (no.7) was a little cramped and the stools weren’t ideal especially for our elderly guest. The atmosphere was that of a very old school local pub which reminded us charmingly of the 70s / 80s. It doesn’t need to change.
The White Hart – PenzanceWe joined 2 friends for Sunday roast lunch and we were all highly impressed with its quality and presentation. It was nice and hot, the meat tender, the veg generous, and the staff friendly and helpful. The deserts were wonderful also. The pub enjoys a wonderful atmosphere, a charming interior, a lovely fire and a buzzing atmosphere. We will return soon.
The White Hart – PenzanceExcellent Sunday roast with family. Great service, drinks and food. A**
The White Hart – PenzanceI used to visit this restaurant regularly in the 1980s when I lived in Cornwall. I went back there recently for the first time in 30 years and I was amazed that the quality of food and friendly service had not altered in all that time. Some would say that lack of change is a downside to a restaurant, but I would differ. The Waterside Meadery has an amazing charm all of its own and if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
