Do not go, I've had better service in places like Harvester for a fraction of the price. I had a bad experience, the manager was not helpful, so I put a complaint in writing. Still waiting on a response.

Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-FyldeAnother great meal - the food is just so tasty and flavourful without being at all overpowering. The chef has a great touch. The food was always top notch here but the surroundings let it down. Now that they have extended and created a proper modern I would say this is the best Thai restairant on the Fylde Coast, bar none.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeAte there tonight on a deal monster deal... my husband's steam was the best he had had in a very long time. Both starters were lovely, the chicken in my main meal ok. Very friendly people. Downside is the toilet area. The window as you go through on the left is absolutely disgusting, full of cobwebs, mildew and dust. As were the toilets themselves. You seriously need a cleaner Golden Ball.
Golden Ball Hotel, The – Poulton-Le-FyldeOrdered from here tonight and it was fowl, tasteless and swimming with grease! I ordered 1 king prawn masala, 1 chicken tikka masala, garlic bread, chicken pakora and rice. The pakoras were soggy and swimming with grease, the masalas were tasteless, the prawns didn't taste right. Absolute load of friggin shite. I have eaten here many times and it's always been ok. Very dissapointed indeed and won't be going back.
The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeJust been to Gennars and it was buzzin'. There were two large parties as well as several other tables of twos and fours etc. and we as a table for two, thought the service would be frantic and we'd have to wait for ages - but how wrong we could be. Considering how busy they were, the service and staff were simply great and always with a smile. We have been before and the food as ever was brilliant - for us they still have to top spot for serving a really good steak. Well done all at Gennars!
Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-Fyldei retract my last statement,i have since had a conversation with the owner and been informed the head waiter made a mistake and our table is fine.so stil a cux service issue,bt nt with the owners.

Espanol – Poulton-Le-FyldeJohn and I visited for the first time 29 Jan 2013 and found it to be very much in the thai characterful and welcoming. The food service was of the highest standard freshly prepared and presented by friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend all to visit. It may take some finding hidden behind St Chads Church haply known as the Mews but a must to locate. Derek Mitchell.
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeEven though this place has been here for years and years I had never actually been before. It’s up a flight of stairs so not the easiest place to stumble upon if you don’t know it’s there. We went on a snowy Friday night and got a nice table for two looking out over Poulton. It’s got a slightly old school feel about it but is clearly a popular venue as by the time we left it was really filling up (and this was the middle of January when most people have neither the money nor the inclination to eat out). Only had garlic bread (tasty but a little soggy) and lasagne (very moreish, albeit in the sloppy English style). Also a bottle of red which the waiter decanted at the table which was a nice touch. Menu had loads of choice and there was a specials menu too with stuff like beef stroganoff. Poulton has a lot of restaurants these days – including four Italians at last count – but Rico’s seems to have carved out its own little niche.
Ricos Italian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeI don't often write reviews however after visiting Mews last night I feel compelled to tell anyone and everyone about my experience. A large group of colleagues and I (10+) arrived to be greeted by very friendly staff. The service was impeccable and prompt (without being rushed). A number of the party ordered from the set menu, however I ordered from the standard menu. The portions are very generous and very reasonably priced. I ordered the Thai dumplings in garlic and chilli sauce to start, I was served 8 or so large dumplings with a beautiful light dressing I then opted for the chicken in chilli oil with some soft noodles which were DIVINE!! As we were a large party, we did share a lot of the different meals, I was lucky enough to try pad Thai, Thai green curry, Siamese chicken along with a few others, all of the dishes made you want to keep eating til you burst. The bill in total was around the £150 mark, not bad considering all 10 of us had 2 courses each. All in all I was very impressed with this restaurant and I am now thinking of excuses to go back ASAP. I will be recommending to all my friends, family and maybe strangers in the street. AMAZING!!!!
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeVisited Rico's last week after a gap of nearly a year, excellent as ever, great service and a bit of craic. Will most certainly return more often
Ricos Italian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeJohn and I visited for the first time 07/01/2013 and was greatly impressed by the restaurant freshly cooked food well presented by friendly and helpfull staff.Would highly recommend to all to visit'It was only accessible by two flights of stairs being not available for some disabled peaple.Derek Mitchell
Ricos Italian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe booked a table at Espanol for a Christmas get together with some friends last week but we were very disappointed with the service. Our table had been booked for two months but when we arrived we were told, without any apology, that we would have to wait at least 30 mins to be seated. We were asked to leave a number and 'go to the pub for a drink' and they would ring when our table was ready. After 40 mins we still hadn't heard anything so we went back to see what was happening. After another 10 mins of waiting in a cramped corner of the restaurant we were finally seated - still with no apology for the inconvenience. The waiter then came over and said we would have to make do with only one menu between seven of us - still with no apology! So we decided to just leave. Some people seem to have had a really positive experience here but I am sorry to say that I have never experienced such a poor level of service and downright rudeness from a restaurant and I won't be going again.
Espanol – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe have been to this restaurant many times and I can not fault it. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. Top Indian Restaurant in the area.
The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeVERY DISAPPOINTED in the service! The bar staff down stairs were miserable on arrival, when taking our order she was abrupt, no smiles or any signs of politeness. I asked for a starter as a main, but was not made clear how they price the item and was charged £10 for 5 mushrooms. They said they portioned the starter to a main at 1.5 the size and likewise with the price, as the starter was only £5.95, at the most it should have cost me £8.95. To add to the disappointment, they charged more for some drinks brought to the table, than when you bought it from the bar. When we took our complaints to the management, they did nothing, as a result I will not be returning. On the positive side the meal was delicious and the male waiting on staff were friendly.
Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-FyldeMy folks used to live just up the road from here and it was always somewhere you passed by, just a riverside pub. Not any more! It's a must visit, even if you only call in for refreshment and to take in the estuary view. That would be a shame though as the cuisine is very good and the extensive menu chock full of dishes featuring local produce. Even at the busiest times, the service if excellent, the portions very generous and the ambience is super too. We only had one small criticism that the main course accompaniments could have been a bit lighter and more complementary. As we stayed for the weekend we also get to sample the excellent breakfasts too, which boast a truly com prhensive menu - featuring super kippers and smoked haddock. We'll be back (soon)!
Shard Riverside Inn – Poulton-Le-FyldeAfter mixed reviews we visited Espanol on Saturday night, fortunately we managed to book a table as someone had cancelled. We were so glad. Upon entering the restaurant the welcome and service was excellent, the atmosphere vibrant and buzzing. The food was excellent. We are regular visitors to Spain and often enjoy tapas there. The tapas and food served at Espanol was every bit as good as you will get in Spain. We had a thoroughly enjoyable night, so much so we have booked again, and are taking our friends along this time. Well done Espanol !
Espanol – Poulton-Le-FyldeFirst time in a while at Suda and – lo and behold – it had doubled in size! Obviously they have bought next door and converted into a ‘proper’ restaurant and bar. Very nicely done and the food was as good as ever. I had the pork and cucumber salad, Thai-style (ie very hot) and my partner had the Musselman curry which was very tasty. Singha beer on draught too.
