The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeBeautiful food and excellent service in a relaxing atmosphere
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeThe best Indian in Poulton by far. Service is second to none. Attentive staff and a menu more diverse than anything I've seen before. All the food is excellent.
The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe are regular take-away customers and we have always had an excellent meal. The Chicken and Cashew Nuts is fantastic.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeStaff was nice but food was as awful as it was when it was Papas....Sorry but this is NOT Italian food at it's best. Same result as Papas, never again.
Bistro Italia – Poulton-Le-FyldeSat down for Friday dinner at a dirty table and had to ask the waitress to clean it as she was oblivious. Amongst other items we ordered poached salmon and prawns on ciabatta without lemon mayo and a side order of chips. She didn't write the order down intimating confidence. I received a warm poached salmon with dill sauce on soft white bap. The chips were old and cold. My partner ordered a chicken dish and the chicken must have died of old age as she was unable to cut it. We eat here fairly often and have had satisfactory meals in the past. Of course we didn't complain being British and maybe we should have but surely the staff should a) give the kitchen the correct order and b) the chef should check the quality of his food before sending it out. This was poor!
Cube Wine Bar – Poulton-Le-FyldeLovely Place beautiful food :-)
Bistro Italia – Poulton-Le-FyldeSo the MAYA Indian Restaurant and Take Away, We waited an hour without any contact. A drink reluctantly offered at the 40 min Mark. The food was varied. They forgot to pack one starter. The foo wasn't hot just warm. The korma had a kick to it which was nice but the byriani wasn't at all spicy. the garlic naan was garlic absent. Verdict 2/5. Will avoid due to long waiting times and poor food standards.
Maya – Poulton-Le-Fyldethe food was not very tasty or spicy and the rice was the worst i(i had to chop and break it up on my plate)have ever seen or tasted it was in big sticky clumps and not the slightest bit fluffy . the service was also poor i had to wait 10-15 minutes after the last of my party had been served. i had not been to eat here for 5 years as it was a bad experience last time and i was hoping it had changed
Thai by Night – Poulton-Le-FyldeHad an exceptional meal here last night and I think Suda is currently turning out the best Thai food on the Fylde Coast. I like the vibe here too -- casual, modern and not overly ethnic. We sat on the stools in the window which was pleasant and watched the world go by. A flat and out-of-date Budweiser was replaced with a Singha and this and all the other drinks subsequently removed from the bill. A nice touch and we will most certainly be back.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-Fyldei would fully recommend this Restaurant, a party of 8 of us dined there and a wonderful time and meal. The staff very friendly and attentive to our requests. We will be visiting again this week and looking forward to it.
Bistro Italia – Poulton-Le-FyldeFood is always great. Popular so would advise you book in advance. From experience, it's likely you will be rushed along if you are in a large party. Also, one particularly bad experience when a friend didn't go off the set menu, but sampled a mouthful from my plate, and a waitress shouted at her!
China Red – Poulton-Le-FyldeA group of 6 of us visited this restaurant on a Saturday in January. We ensured we booked in advance. Although the food was great, I have to say that the service was bad. After ordering some drinks we had to prompt the waiter several times to actually bring them over. When the mains came out we were missing one, when this was pointed out to one of the waiters he simply shrugged. It arrived almost 10 minutes after everyone else's with no apology. Don't think any of our party would return.
Maya – Poulton-Le-FyldeThis place is a jewel for the Carleton community. At any time you are sure of a friendly welcome by experienced staff. Excellent meals all fresh cooked with well sourced ingredients. My favourite is the magnificent soup at lunchtime with classy sandwiches, but mornings and breakfast, or afternoon tea is a pleasure to look forward to as well.Days are planned to incorporate a visit to Salt!
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeLovely tea room, nice china tea pot and tea stainer, lovely china cups. Homemade cakes etc. very nice.
Truly Scrumptious – Poulton-Le-FyldeA group of 5 of us visited Thai by night on Friday 18th February 2011 for the 1st time after receiving recommendation from friends. When we arrived, the 5 of us were squashed round a table for 4 right next to the door. Needless to say every time someone went out for a cigarette break we were wafted by a huge blast of cold air, and someone seemed to go out for a break every 2 mins!!!! We placed our order and although the starter was quick to arrive, we only had 1 finger bowl between 5 of us and some of the mixed combo starters were cold. After finishing our starter we had to wait over an hour for our main course and were beginning to think we hadn't ordered one. They didn't clear away our starter dishes and we were basically left unattended. After an hour of waiting, when we asked where the main courses were, we were told that they had 2 large groups in, and when they had been finished with they would get our food!!! Not great customer service. Then when the main courses did eventually arrive, we were one short, they sent 4 instead of 5. The rest of us didn't like to start without one of the group so asked where it was and it became apparent that it had been completely forgotten. Those of us that had a main course decided to get on and eat it as it was now lukewarm. When they did bring the main course, no apology was made and the noodles were very very greasy. Needless to say we will not be visiting the Thai at Night again, and if your looking for attentive service with hot food, I would suggest that you avoid!!
Thai by Night – Poulton-Le-FyldeI get regular takeaways from here and every one has been excellent, prices reasonable too. Best to ring your order in before collecting at weekends if you can as it often gets busy
