Excellent food excellent service
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeGluten free options available. I had a gf pizza. The chef double checked with me due to me being a Coeliac which was very reassuring. Gluten free fries too which was a treat . Other family members enjoyed their meal too. Relaxed atmosphere.
Thyme – PoultonMy mother in law to be has eaten here several times and never had an issue however last night was absolutely awful food, it has put us all off ever coming again. Food was dry, the cheese & onion pie was disgusting, salad tasted of fish. Staff didn’t do a check back to see if everything was okay with the meals. It was a hen party meal, we chose this as was local. A lady that worked there in particular was very rude if looks could have killed I wouldn’t be writing this review today.
Thyme – PoultonEaten here several times, always been great, however we came just 2 of us yesterday, the service was very slow, atleast 15 mins before we even ordered a drink, and food not even nearly as good as it has been in the past, very disappointed ☹️
Thyme – PoultonHad lunch with 4 adults and one child .. all different meals and everyone enjoyed them .. we are moving to the area soon so will definitely be back.
Thyme – PoultonUsually thyme is nice but very disappointed with the breakfast yesterday. We ordered 3 full English- beans were cold, potatoes were stale and tasted like they had been sat around for days. Tomato chutney was very vinegary and tasted off. My mum also asked for no black pudding on her plate and the waitress was very rude, said she can’t swap it or take it off the plate. Will not be returning anytime soon.
Thyme – PoultonWe tried here for the first time since it has become The Greedy Badger. We headed here for the steak night we saw advertised. It was quiet for a Friday evening but a nice warm welcome received. We wanted to order the tomahawk steak but were advised it needed to be pre-ordered which was a little disappointing. We both opted for the fillet steak. The food was amazing, hot and fresh and the steak was as good as any previously tried, homemade steak sauces were also lovely. We will definitely be returning and pre-ordering a tomahawk :)
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeExcellent food and service. Staff attentive and friendly .
Thyme – PoultonThere were 4 off us and all had different main courses all were very nice but beware the battered fish is huge if you're not a big eater either skip the starter or go for small Definitely would book again
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeVery overpriced and very bland food . Service wasn’t up to much either sadly
Thyme – PoultonWe had an amazing Sunday roast in Thyme last week. We also enjoyed the same on Mother's Day, so we went back for more & it was scrumtious. HighlyRecommended. The staff were all so lovely too, thank you to everyone at Thyme, see you again soon.
Thyme – PoultonSat down at the table to find it dirty and sticky Had to ask yo get it wiped down Besides the manager behind the bar it seamed there was only one waitress working We have been many times in the past and found the food good at a fair price It would appear that the new owners have done a bit of painting in the bar area but don’t look too closely as the plaster is breaking up in many places Now looking at the menu this pub are now charging premium prices for the food which is ok if you are in clean and well decorated surroundings and the food is excellent but unfortunately neither is the case I ordered a steak pie which I can say was tasty and hot and so were the chunky chips The pie came with fresh vegetables which were stone cold How I hate cold food My partner had a steak which was tender and tasty but missing from the dish was the onion rings and side salad Again for £24 this is not good enough I would have mentioned these failures but nobody can to the table to ask if all was ok All in all a bit so good experience at top prices There are plenty of quality eating places very close by so I am afraid we will not be returning A shame as we were expecting more when you look at the prices
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeNice food, we really enjoy it, but they seriously need to get more non-alcoholic options on the menu. Plenty of great non-alcoholic coders and wines available, but they only do non-alcoholic beer. Not good for people who can’t stand beer! Service is friendly if a little slow. Usually end up having to go to desk to pay as they never bring the card machine over.
Thyme – PoultonExcellent service, good foid
Thyme – PoultonThe menu on line is quite different from the one in the pub, we were disappointed by that as we’d chosen already! I don’t think we would have gone if we saw the actual menu first. According to the waitress, the restaurant and bar menus have been recently replaced with this one menu to cover both areas. A great pity.
The Greedy Badger at The Miller Arms – Poulton-Le-FyldeLoved the food and staff and service were very good.
