this has to be the BEST chinese restaurant in the northwest.cannot fault anythging about this place from the welcome to the leaving nothing is too much trouble for the staff who ensure everything is done to make your dining experience the best it can be.

Having just re-visited The Naaz, we are having to eat humble pie. Since our last visit things have changed! This was always a reliable watering hole serving good food, but had lacked the sparkle of other up market curry establishments. It has now come of age, with new decour, bar area and by the time they`ve finished..posh Loos. The food remains excellent, nicely served and tasty as always. But with a new look and new menu things are really on the up. It is nice to see that even well established Restaurants can re-invent themselves occasionally and emerge even better than before.

Excellent indian restaurant situated above the opticians in Lostock Hall. Bloody good food with very friendly service.

The Naaz has always enjoyed a good reputation over the last few years and our recent visit gave no leave to change that view. In many ways it`s a shame that it`s tucked away in a side street, but a blessing for those that just "drop in" because invariably they can squeeze you in somewhere. The ambience of this curry house is never likely to set the pace, but having said that, it is a good honest and clean establishment where the food is always nothing less than excellent. The service can vary, though is generally good and the starters are always worth a look. The have a varied menu which is always well prepared. I probably don`t fully do it justice because I`ve been going there for so many years. But if you want reliablity and good food you`ll certainly not go wrong here

One of the best nights out in Preston, the staff are very welcoming and go out of thier way to make the night a good one, the food is spot on.

If you go late on as it's in the heart of preston it is extremely busy, great indian cuisine very friendly staff.

food was o.k but the portions were a bit pathetic, for what you pay and I went late about 12.30 at night and there was a lot of drunken clubbers in!!

Browns is situated in preston town centre and is a popular venue for soul, r'n'b, hip hop and ragga music. The over 25's club that has recently opened above is great if you want to go some where thats not full of kids. Personally I prefer sunday nights as they have a great band and guest singers every week. Doorman and bar staff are friendly and do there job, there's very little trouble, a must if visiting preston.

The food and service were pretty good. Very relaxing place to eat. Thinking of going again on Xmas Eve for a bite to eat. Will have to get a Xmas Menu from you.

By far the best cafe in preston city centre!

Went first in Sep 2003. Returned with friends in Oct 2003. Menu had good selection, better than most. All cooked and presented to perfection.

WHAT A MOST BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT IN THE HEART OF LONGTON - WENT FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST WEEK AND ENJOYED A SUPERB MEAL

Top quality pizzas in a groovy enviroment,and the waitress' weren't bad either!

I have visited this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The food is always of the highest quality, well presented and reasonably priced. The staff are attentive but not overbearing. The hidden treasure at the Orchard is the spectacular wine list, which has to be asked for. The range of wines is spectacular; some can be a bit pricey but, for the special occasion, you will have to go a long way to find better. If you have the money try a bottle of Amarone, a delicious heavy red wine (16%).

i have eaten twice here recently having passed the entrance on numerous occasions over the years without actually visiting.what a pleasant surprise was in store.it is without doubt one of the best italians around the area in many ways as the staff are friendly the wine list superb-we had a fantastic bottle of merlot for 14 pounds-and the food delightful.a traditional italian menu but with the added spice of some excellant specials such as deep fried brie or king prawn -and i mean king-with chilli and ginger.the views in summer will be beautiful and with a kiddies play area i am sure the place will be visited many times by me in the future.anybody who has not tried it must and do not think it is too far out from the fylde as it takes only 15 mins from blackpool on the motorway.

Excellent Food, very reasonably priced, recommend booking for restaurant on Friday and Saturday, small intimate restauarant, tablecloths and cotton napkins, excellent sweet menu. Lovely setting - wine list limited but excellent prices. Thoroughly recommended.
