The Ginger Bistro – PrestonI've always loved coming here. Food and service always been top notch. So I booked for my 50th Birthday and invited 9 of my closest family to dine with me, making 10 altogether, we all chose our food in advance and paid deposits. The table was booked for 5pm on 14 August. We were in a period of extremely hot weather and its always hot in there anyway, no forethought about providing fans for the seating areas. There were other people dining in small groups. The waitress told us that they were serving everyone else first then getting around to use. We waited from 6.30-7pm til everyone had been served but they still missed food off the menu. Starters and mains were served at the same time, without asking us first. I went to speak to the manager about the issues we were having. He tried to avoid me and I waited nearly 10mins for him to speak to me. I explained what had gone on. He accepted no responsibility, he said "those words haven't come from me" I did explain that if his staff had informed us of his decision so its as good as, he is the manager after all!!! Still no acceptance that he could be held responsible for any if the mis-haps, I returned to my table before my food went cold despite the stifling heat. We had asked for the door to be unlocked that was next to the 1 window that was open and we were refused. All in all, I'm so disappointed. You only turn 50 once and this was my 1st big celebration in 20years. Over £300 spent and not so much as a thank you or an apology. Yes the food is nice, if it arrives and you haven't waited over an hour and a half.
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonThat's the second time we book to eat. Tasty food and nice cocktails A few tips that I would like to give as I travel a lot and I see good service and bad service. When you eat wings you expect to have a bowl to put your bones in ,not mix em with everything in your plate. Food comes usually for everyone in the same time so we can enjoy eating together that's the point of going out. Here I had to say to someone that my order is missing. UK with Jack Daniels and coke is the same taste ...no improvement..everyone is using that cheap flat Pepsi or coke ...hope that someone in this entire country will change this and give European service and good taste. Use glas bottles of coke and put it in the price ...I prefer to pay a bit more than drink that . Use the air con in this heat ,we prefer to pay a higher price for your electric than eat hot food in hot atmosphere. Thank you for reading.
Wings & Beer Co – PrestonBrilliant. We booked a table for 7, the service and the food was excellent. Only 2 of us had been before and the other 5 are definitely returning. The food is excellent, and very little wait time, but never felt rushed. 7 three course meals, (1 vegetarian had plenty of choice). Plenty of drinks including 2 bottles of wine, just over £200 tell me that's not good value. I can't recommend it highly enough.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonSecond time here and same great service, great price and great atmosphere. Keep it up The ginger bistro
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonAMAZING love this place
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonExcellent food, three of us to be served, one dish ordered was not on the menu that day, (Thursday 11.08.22) . Staff friendly and not very busy that day. Will go again.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe visited here about a month ago… OMG it was amazing, please give this place ago food & staff all quality
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonNice food served by very friendly attentive staff.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonVisited this week for the first time. It was a Monday lunchtime. There were 2 of us so we expected to be in and out quite quickly. Starters and Mains were all very good.. The food was fresh, tasty and well presented. The service was very very slow. 90 minutes for a 2-course lunch is agonizingly slow. The servers were all very pleasant and friendly - it just took ages to be served and for the food to arrive.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe came here due to recommendation that the food was amazing. Our drinks took 30 minutes to turn up. The burgers and chips both turned up with hairs in them. Garlic bread turned up cold and uncooked. Service was poor as well with none of the staff being particularly helpful. Safe to say our night was appalling and won’t be coming back here anytime soon.
