Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.
Had dinner recently with friends. The 3 course festive menu was excellent and great value for money. Good wine at a great price. Great atmosphere and service. It’s good to have an excellent local restaurant. Will get my continued support.

My only comment is that the waitress should know what the soup of the day is and what sandwiches aren’t available BEFORE she comes to take an order. I know things will change in the New Year. Bread and Butter – PrestonWe had scallops and mushrooms to start , duck and lamb shank for main and white chocolate cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Everything was amazing and service was fantastic! This was not our first visit to Ginger Bistro and definitely won’t be our last! Merry Christmas to all the staff

Bread and Butter – PrestonHad a lovely evening catching up with friends not seen for over a year. The food from the Christmas menu was excellent. Served nice and hot and was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive but not annoyingly so. It was very busy but was set out well to keep reasonable distance between tables. Under present covid circumstances it was good to feel safe and to see a hospitality venue doing well.

The Ginger Bistro – PrestonMyself and 3 friends ate at Bread and Butter on Sunday, the food was absolutely delicious, we could not fault it! We all choose different dishes and they were all equally as nice. We tried the trio of desserts and they were all amazing. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the staff were lovely and attentive! It was a lovely touch for the chef to come and chat to us and see if we were happy with our meals. I would 100% recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Atmosphere could of been a bit more exciting especially because its Christmas.Overall value for money however dinks are a little expensive and maybe draught pepsi/coke would be better than glass bottles.Over all had a good evening and will defiantly return.Rating 3.5 out of 5.

The Ginger Bistro – PrestonEight of us had a Christmas meal last week. It was to the usual high standard from the Christmas menu. Food was hot and tasty, well presented and delivered to the table with enough time to have a drink and a chat. Service was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We work at the hospital, so the distance to get to Ginger Bistro is ideal. For those who had not been before, they cant wait to visit again. Hopefully not too long.........covid allowing!!

Everything was perfect, Beautiful breakfast, including the Vegetarian, small breakfast, omelette and eggs benedict. The young man and lady who waited on us were polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We are going to return to try out the lunch menu, next time. Looking forward to returning to a warm welcoming bistro. Thank you
