This was our third visit to the Ginger Bistro and once again thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Recommended!!!
The Ginger Bistro – Preston
Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.
This was our third visit to the Ginger Bistro and once again thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Recommended!!!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonBooked for 4 - on line booking was a real plus! I had the burger - I was disappointed - not because the burger was bad (it was very good) - but because the other 3 had lovely looking meals so I should have gone beyond my normal choices. My wife had mozzarella chicken- large and fantastic. My mother had a beautiful (and huge) fish pie, and her friend had the beef bourginon which also looked good. Starters were very nice ( I had deep fried Camembert) but felt the deserts were not good value for money. Staff were efficient and very friendly. Overall a really good meal and atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend. This will be a 5 on trip advisor from me (in spite of no pie on menu!)
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGood atmosphere and nice food :)
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFiona and I enjoyed our first dinner at the Ginger Bistro last Friday evening. We felt the food and service was excellent and equally the wine list had some interesting selections (good job). Our only comment would be that the acoustics resulted in a rather "noisy" ambiance -- buzzy is great but it was a little more than that -- not helped by the couple at the adjacent table having a rather heated discussion and managing to up heave & smash their water jug on the floor. (Bit hard to manage customers like them !!! ). Definitely will return when we are next in Preston
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonHad seen the reviews on trip advisor and had to give it a try. Cocktails were excellent, the black pudding Benedict starter was amazing. Loved the main courses and the steak was perfectly cooked, and the fish pie was to die for. Can't wait to go back!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGreat food and friendly service. The fish pie was one of the best I’ve ever had. There was seven of us and everyone loved the food. Topped off with a lovely atmosphere too. Highly recommend. ❤️
The Ginger Bistro – Preston100%, great service, great food, great atmosphere
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonThis is the second time I have visited the Ginger Bistro. Menu, music, service all good, although I thought the portion size for the vegetarian burger was small for the price. My friend wasn't very complimentary about the barbecue sauce. We would probably go again, although only when the offer is on (before 6 p.m. during weekdays).
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWonderful! Sublime food and faultless service. A lovely, well planned and balanced menu is complimented by daily specials. Well worth visiting.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonAgain, we had a delicious meal, whilst joined by another two of our friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and look forward to our next visit.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGood food. Good service and lovely little bistro. Worth a visit
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonLoved everything about this place! The food was amazing and freshly prepared. There was lots of choice for a vegetarian like myself. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would 100% recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again.
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonThis was our second visit to the Ginger Bistro and as before it was a fab dining experience. The service is friendly and efficient and the variety of the menu is just about right. When the food arrived it was both delicious and presentable and for those with a healthy appetite like myself, the portions are good. Oh and try the sticky toffee pudding....it's zero calorie and to die for! ;-)
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonExcellent
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonAbsolutely love this place! Stunning hotel and we eat I the restaurant whenever we are in town!
The Shankly Hotel – PrestonFound this place quite by chance one weekday lunchtime. It’s a quirky little venue hidden away down a side street in Longridge with a great selection of wines by the glass. As it was Friday I treated myself to a cheeky glass of Vermentino while catching up with some emails. Nice place.
Fullaloves Wines – PrestonThe meal we had was excellent. Couldn't complain, food served hot, service good, staff not over bearing, nice wait in between courses. The only complaint was no draught beer and the peroini was gluten free and you ran out io cold bottles!!! All in all a good meal and would definitely recommend and revisit!!!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGreat atomosphere , wonderful attentive staff and fabulous food, with plenty of variety on the menu. Never disappoints.
