Absolutely love this place! Stunning hotel and we eat I the restaurant whenever we are in town!
The Shankly Hotel – PrestonFound this place quite by chance one weekday lunchtime. It’s a quirky little venue hidden away down a side street in Longridge with a great selection of wines by the glass. As it was Friday I treated myself to a cheeky glass of Vermentino while catching up with some emails. Nice place.
Fullaloves Wines – PrestonThe meal we had was excellent. Couldn't complain, food served hot, service good, staff not over bearing, nice wait in between courses. The only complaint was no draught beer and the peroini was gluten free and you ran out io cold bottles!!! All in all a good meal and would definitely recommend and revisit!!!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGreat atomosphere , wonderful attentive staff and fabulous food, with plenty of variety on the menu. Never disappoints.
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonAbsolutely love this place. 6 of us went for the early bird menu on Saturday - food was excellent, all freshly made and piping hot. The 2for1 cocktail deal is also an added bonus. Always find the staff very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonOur party of four had an early afternoon Lunch at the Ginger bistro. Everyone enjoyed the meal, it was excellent value and good service. The restaurant closes around 3:00 so if you are planning a lunch visit Don't arrive later than about 1:30. However we sat and chatted long after service had finished and weren't rushed at all.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe visited for a family birthday. Two of our party are Vegan the waitress took a lot of time to discuss the meal and we all loved it. We weren’t hurried and we all enjoyed the food service and environment. Well done to all
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonThe food was lovely and even though we arrived just after 7pm, the staff still allowed us to order cocktails on the 2 for £10 offer. The service was faultless and the staff were really friendly. I would recommend to anyone and will be back again myself soon.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonExcellent meal with great service
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonHad a lovely lunch here for the first time. Great food, good value and exceptional service
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonHaving read favourable reviews about this restaurant, I was looking forward to eating here. There is no doubt about the quality of the food (we all had fish as it was Friday!): it was delicious and freshly cooked and the service was very good (attentive without being obsequious). However, we waited 40 minutes for our main course (we hadn't ordered starters so we were quite hungry by the time our meals arrived) with no explanation (I realise that food freshly cooked takes longer to prepare but 40 mins felt a bit too long) and the music was overly loud: some background music is fine but this was overly intrusive and rendered conversation difficult. Overall, it was a good experience and I would eat here again but turn the music down please!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonDelicious food and excellent service. Been twice with different groups of friends and family. Everyone loved the food. Will be visiting again.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonFirst visit to the 'Ginger' last Saturday. Most impressed ! Food was superb ! I had a Fillet Steak, my wife the Goosnargh Chicken, I followed with my annual helping of Sticky Toffee Pudding while my wife opted for Eton Mess. All washed down with a very nice bottle of New Zealand Malborough. Not a crumb or a drop was left ! The staff were both friendly and efficient. The ambiance and the setting provided a relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely excellent dining experience ! The 'Ginger' is only a fifteen minute walk from our house and this establishment will undoubtedly enhance the 'eating out' options in the area. It will be a real asset. Would we return again ? Most certainly, time after time after time !
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonAs always had a lovely lunchtime meal; amazing value at £10 for 2 courses. Great to have this Bistro so local. Can thoroughly recommend.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonVery impressed on our first visit. Brilliant staff, varied menu at a reasonable price and a real 'buzz' to the place. Even though the restaurant was full, our meals and drinks were served promptly. The staff deserve a particular mention as they were very welcoming and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Food was tasty, hot and reasonably priced. Will be returning again soon.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonGreat
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonI dined at The Ginger Bistro with some colleagues as a party of 10 on Friday 5th July and couldn't have been more impressed! The Ginger Bistro is a fabulous place to visit and dine, couldn't fault the food, service or atmosphere, great staff and a lovely ambience within the restaurant. The prices for some of the main courses could be slightly less but overall, we left well and truly impressed!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonSpent the evening at Ginger Bistro with a friend. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Only wish my would be more scallops on the specials starter x
