The Ginger Bistro – Preston
Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.
Went in for lunch and tried the two course set menu for the first time , very impressed. Excellent choice and good service. Would recommend.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonVisited for the first time on Monday following recommendation and we were not disappointed. Great choice, friendly informative staff and most of all delicious food. The fish special of salmon and seafood sauce was excellent. Walking distance for us so another bonus. Will definitely be back.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonAnother great meal at Slice of Sicily . All my friends enjoyed there meals & great atmosphere with Penwortham live on
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonDelicious food. Lovely setting. Great staff. Definitely one to recommend!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonI would highly recommend this restaurant. Having been several times, I have never been disappointed. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient and the menu selection is varied. All the dishes I have tried have been freshly prepared, delivered hot to the table and were excellent. Great value for money.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonVisited last night for the 'early bird' menu. Great value and service. Couldn't complain about the portion size either! Will definitely go again.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonI have visited Ginger Bistro three times. Good food and service each time. Will definitely be going back again.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonDropped in here after a walk around nearby Hoghton Tower. Although fronting the main road, it’s a lovely spot with country views and a beer garden separated by a hedge from the traffic. Smart inside too.
The Royal Oak – PrestonThree of us had a lovely meal. It was relatively quiet and we had good attention from Sara and Tommy. They went out of their way to find details of the different sauces - which were so tasty. As my wife and I were from Cambridgeshire and visiting Preston, we shall look forward to our next visit, especially if involves a visit to this Bistro!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonHave been here for breakfast several times and is lovely. This was the first time I have had lunch there and the food, wine and surroundings were all great. Decent price and very well cooked food especially the mussels which were the only ones I have ever had in the UK which rival the excellent ones I had once in Sorrento. Perfect.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonThis was my second visit for an evening meal - we have had lovely food and great service on both occasions. Just a little suggestion - the starter menu is very fish based with little else to choose from - it would be good to see some additions to that. Otherwise faultless. Thank you
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonDelicious food spoiled by rude manager and poor customer service.
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonGood food, excellent service and very competitively priced
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWonderful meal great staff would highly recommend
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonThis is the third time I’ve been here (lunchtime and evening) and I can’t fault the food. It’s great that they have a good selection of vegetarian choices. Service is friendly and attentive. My only recommendation to visitors is if it’s a chilly day as you enter the restaurant ask to sit to the left as the draught every time the door opens is really chilly for diners sat to the right, in front of the bar area. Apart from that it’s great to have such a great little bistro in Fulwood. Keep up the good work
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonAgain, another lovely lunchtime meal with excellent service. Extremely good value for money. Looking forward to going again soon.
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonI came with colleagues for the lunchtime set menu. We pre-ordered as we only had a short time to eat. Everything as usual was excellent. Food and services. We will be back. Thanks again Karen
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonWe took two of our friends for lunch on 26 April and we all had excellent meals. Our friends, who had not been before, both said they would definitely be returning. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
