The Cottage 1771 – PrestonAah it's really good.Nice decor, good atmosphere and the food is good!! And loads of cocktails!!
Turtle Bay – PrestonOh I do like this place
Turtle Bay – PrestonAbsolutely stuffed ourselves here. Great food and atmosphere!
Burgers N Bibs at Boston Brothers – PrestonVery disappointing, my wife and I were there for a special occasion and the food was Ok. However there seemed to be mouse droppings on the floor and when I mentioned it they ignored it.
Legh Arms – PrestonWhat a lovely afternoon was had by all our party aboard the Search for Santa Magical Cruise. Myself, mother, niece and great nephew thoroughly enjoyed the trip and all of us got to meet Santa and his elves and we also had a visit from Olaf (the snowman from Frozen). We were served mulled wine and mince pies and all the children received two presents from Santa after we found him along the canal. Thank you to all at Canal Boat Cruises for the best visit Santa I have ever been to.
Canal Boat Cruises – Romance Restaurant Boat – PrestonFour of us went to Winedown on Saturday evening. The weather was atrocious so it was great to get settled down in this subterranean wine bar. We drank a fair few bottles along with some fine cheese, meats and nibbles. Dougy the host was excellent and knew his wines. Will return and would recommend.
Winedown – PrestonExcellent meal and superb service.
Ye Olde Hob Inn – PrestonLovely seafood pizza and tagliatelle frescomare for lunch yesterday. Service was good too. Very handy spot on the main road in Fulwood. They not have outside tables too. Shame I will have to wait till next spring to use them!
Slice of Sicily in Fulwood – PrestonWe visited Angels last night to celebrate my birthday and had a fantastic meal. Compliments to Simon for producing a excellent menu, service was extremely good and all in all a wonderful experience ! THANK YOU!
Angels – PrestonThe décor here was a bit of a surprise for a rural pub. Food was very good indeed.
Angels – PrestonFood varied and delicious, portion sizes plentiful loads of courses yum yum yum. Place, clean décor, relaxing, staff friendly. Have recommended to friends.
Mundo Tapas – PrestonWent here for my 50th birthday and had a lovely table in the conservatory. Wednesday night and it was really buzzing which when you consider the slightly out of the way location is a real testament to the reputation the Italian Orchard has built up over the years. Fully justified in my view too as the menus offer loads of interesting choices and if wine’s your thing they have a great selection of Italian wines to choose from. There was a pianist playing too which just adds to the ambience. Highly recommended.
Italian Orchard – PrestonFood was ok but not enough roly in the poly.
Guild Merchant – PrestonMyself and my daughter visited this cafe in May. I had a Jacket potato and my daughter a panini. the total cost was just under £20. Rather expensive for what you got, My complaint is that there was no variation on the standard beans and cheese for the jacket. I wanted Cheese and coleslaw. I was told I had to pay for extra items if I wanted something not specified on the menu. The standard of the food has fallen since my last visit and the portion sizes have also shrunk. I got about a tablespoon (one small ramekin dish) of cheese with my jacket for which I was charged over £1.50.The salad was mainly lettuce and carrot. I have 3 pieces of corn and one minute cherry tomato. and 2/3 small pieces of cucumberI have emailed Raffles Coffee house twice in May and have not had a reply. The month later I hand delivered a letter which had my emails with it at the end of June and I still have not had a reply. Raffles Coffee House, money is hard to earn, your prices are over expensive for what you get. You ask for feedback on your site, for what reason, just to ignore it???? For an establishment not to be able to have the courtesy to reply to a complaint you are not worth another visit and I rather think that word of mouth by social media is the way forward.Totally dissatisfied and disgusted that you are not able to reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Raffles Coffee House – PrestonSuperb steak and sauces to die for. Staff excelled in all aspects. Will be returning and recommending
NYC Steakhouse & Grill – PrestonGreat food and great customer service will be going back soon.
NYC Steakhouse & Grill – PrestonWe had the unlimited Tapas Menu and every dish that was brought out was extremely tasty and thoroughly enjoyed by all out party, in the end we had to ask them not to bring any more out as we were all full. The manager Steve made sure we were all looked after and the staff were all very helpful. The mushroom and stilton pepperpot was my favourite dish but they were all yummy. The toilets were nice and clean too. Highly recommended.
