Great service and lovely meal. Will definitely be returning again.
Slice Of Sicily – Preston
Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.
Great service and lovely meal. Will definitely be returning again.
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonReally tasty food and wine and great value too. We definitely be returning again.
Slice Of Sicily – PrestonMy wife and i had a lunchtime meal on 190319.We have not been here for maybe 2 years. We both had 3 courses and 2 drinks each.Total cost was £62.95.This is fantastic value and far and away the best in this area. The atmosphere was perfect for a couple of 60 plus year olds.Only one lady behind the bar who was also serving the food.Maybe 20 people came in over the lunchtime. She managed well, the food was excellent. Such a shame that the Smiths can not be reached by bus because that was sacked 2 years ago.If you want to drink alcohol you have to have a taxi which restricts the visitors unless you live next door.We live only3 miles away and spent £20 on taxis. The Smiths and other surrounding pubs are penalised because they are unreachable by public transport. We will return.
Smiths Arms – PrestonLove this new addition to the area. It looks great, open all day and the food is good!
The Ginger Bistro – PrestonI always think this is a great place for a meeting - smart, good value and just off the M55/M6 motorway junction. Judging by the number of cars in the car park, I'm not the only one!
Cast Iron Grill At Preston Marriott Hotel – PrestonWe have been to the resturant several times since they have opened ,the service has always been very good , a good atmosphere and most of all excellent food it has become one of our regular places to eat
Romanos – PrestonSuperb lunch time meal today . Both myself and guest had home made pie chips and veg with real ale . First class host as barman . Pie was freshly made and was gorgeous . Pity it was so quiet .
Green Man – PrestonGorgeous restaurant with amazing food!
Trattoria San Marco – PrestonExcellent meal all round at Bistrot Pierre Preston. The place looks fab in an old church! vaulted ceilings and plenty of space. A contemporary feel with a big bar in the middle. Booked through Sugarvine and the reply was prompt. The waiter guessed by our faces we wanted a different table and without asking moved us to a better booth seat and he continued to be very attentive and efficient throughout the meal. Think he was called Paul. we both opted for deep fried brie which spot on and both mains were just right. Wine was very pleasant. All in all and great addition to Preston!
Bistrot Pierre – PrestonRecently re-opened under new management. New toilets, new paint job and new menu. Service was incredible, staff very friendly, and the food delicious....The new owners have big plans for this little jem...Fingers crossed for them. On first impressions i really think it work out for them and the village of Longton. Good luck, see you again very soon
Romanos – PrestonAverage but a good evening!
Theatre Street Bar and Grill – PrestonFavourite Indian restaurant in the Preston area. Been around for years serving consistent quality. The place has a touch of glamour too. Nice guys who own it.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonExcellent sunday lunch yesterday! The beef was just right.
Plungington Hotel – PrestonFirst time at East z East following a suggestion from friends. We were not disappointed and enjoyed a cuisine very different to what's on offer at the usual Indian haunts. This offered a refreshing change, however if you want a typical English curry they do that too - and very well. Personally for me though it's all about the meats here - we had the mixed grill accompanied by the most tasteful selection of fresh dips which were a restaurant speciality. So good - try the hot mint yoghurt or the plum chutney ! Naan breads the size of tables and melt in the mouth paratha all cooked to perfection. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff rounded off a perfect evening nicely. What more do you want ? Give it a try. Warmly recommended...
East Z East – PrestonWe visited today with a client and the food from the set menu was amazing. The chicken wings was to die for and the spicy shredded chicken reminded me of authentic Chinese restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Five star service all round from start to finish. Will definitely be re visiting in my free time. Thank you for an excellent experience.
Azuma – PrestonWe enjoyed a very special two course lunch last week. one of our favourite Italians!
Italian Orchard – Preston. Tried to book online but was completely booked up all weekend. Did a 'walk in' around 1.30pm and got a table straight away as there'd been some 'no shows'. They've done a fantastic job of the building and decor, the balcony on the back will be fantastic on a sunny evening, outside seating on the front of the building too. Staff were great, very attentive, ordered from the prix fixe menu, 2 courses for £11.95. Had chicken liver parfait followed by beef bourguignon. Food was lovely and the wine was average restaurant price but they do wine in 175, 250, 500 & 750ml, don't see 500ml offered in many places. You can also go in for just drinks but. Highly recommended on 1st visit, would definitely go again!
Bistrot Pierre – PrestonLooks like this place is under new ownership and has closed for a refurb for a few months.
