Kashti – PrestonHad our first visit to the Double Tree sat night while visiting my daughter who's at Preston Uni. Service was great and the meal was fantastic with a great choice and something a bit different on offer. Will definitely go back in the new year when we next visit. Would highly recommend it.
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – Prestonbooked for 19.45 Saturday last arrived introduced ourselves and said we had booked ,we were then told to find a table not shown so off we went got to the table waited five mins no menus got up and had to ask for them at this point waitress said i will come and ask what drinks we would like ten mins later she arrived ,ordered starters ,they came and were ok the mains followed max asked for the pork which said it was served with potatoes but came with chips but as we thought we were lucky to get the food we didn't complain myself i got stake i wanted medium rare which it was but not as hot as id have liked i also ordered a pepper sauce but again i had to get up and ask for it drinks ordered again but never came until we had to ask again plates left for some time before being taken away puddings ordered and came both were very good .all in all food was good but what really lets this place down is the service this was the second time we had been to the goose and service was as bad last time ,we wont be going again
The Sitting Goose – PrestonAn absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The surroundings are plush and welcoming. The food is outstanding, as are the staff and the evening was altogether fabulous.
Nellie The Elephant – PrestonExcellent meal, good value for food quality, very friendly and efficient staff. Well worth a visit.
Tiggis Pizzeria – PrestonTop restaurant, the food here is the best in Lancashire, give them a try you wont be disappointed.
Kashti – PrestonFirst visit a few weeks ago for my Birthday. We are going again next Sat 12th Nov. FOOD THE BEST IN THE AREA. FANTASTIC! The only negative I have is the poor greeting and not asking your name to coincide on the reservations. You just sit in a waiting area and not even offered drinks or menus and when a table comes free, moved to that table, thus giving you no time to look at the menu.
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonA lovely pub and dining restaurant. My most recent visit to The Grapes was on Sunday 30th October 2011. The pub was wonderfully decorated with Halloween Decore and the Landlord and Landlady were very pleasant and welcoming. We sat down to eat and was served quickly and the food was lovely. We ordered off the main menu and the Sunday menu and all dishes were to a very high standard. We have also visited this pub for other occasions, such as Field Day which are always well organised and a pleasure to be at. We will definitely be attending the Fireworks on 4th November 2011, and would definitely recommend this pub to anyone! Thank you!
Grapes Inn – PrestonA frequent visitor here, I have always had a great experience. Fantastic, freshly cooked food with spices you can taste. Friendly, attentive staff. Anyone I have taken has been impressed. Make sure you book early!!
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – PrestonFantastic place to unwind and relax especially after hearing the 5* ratings the restaurant received from the Health regulations. Nowhere in Preston is known for 5* quality in health and hygiene. i would recommend The Double Tree to everybody. Prestons finest by far!
Double Tree Indian Restaurant – Prestonwent with my sons 11 and 10 years staff friendly helpful food was excellent even though it was early evening on a wednesday 5 stars
Buffet@Preston – PrestonOctober 2011. Tried to find a different place for lunch but being unimpressed with alternatives we returned to my wife's favourite Deli-Med. Tasty wholesome homemade soup and a hot sandwich were just right. Would recommend to anyone.
Deli Med – PrestonOct 2011 visited several times. however, was v disappointed this week. both starter and pasta were undercooked. left most of it.
Italian Orchard – PrestonMy wife and I ate at Pond on Friday night, it was the first time we had been there since it moved. having a hard time picking from the menu we decided to opt for the 'banquet for two'. at the point of ordering we were shown the banquet for 4 menu which had a good mix of basic tapas dishes and premium (steak, prawns etc) and were told that the banquet for 2 was very similar with just a few dishes less. what we got were 6 very basic dishes, with no premium ones included. when we complained about this (and were due to pay £45 for this) the manageress seemed very 'put-out'. she disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with an obviously freshly printed banquet for 2 menu which had all the dishes we had eaten on and one more. funny how they couldn't find one before we ordered. in relation to the missing dish we were asked "do you still want this?", to which we replied well we are paying for it!!! most of the food appeared to have been warmed through with varying degrees of efficiency in a microwave and i still can't get over how they can present about 25pence worth of vegetables sauteed in oil with a few herbs and tell you that it is worth between £6 and £8. nothing was inedible but the lack of value for money couldn't help but leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. Preston really needs some good eateries and this isn't helping.
Duk-Pond – PrestonThe service is superb. The staff are very friendly and always welcoming. the food is good too.
