Very nice place and atmosphere. Very welcoming and pleasant staff. Had a good lunch with friends who all enjoyed the food. Excellent service. Could do with more vegetarian options as currently very limited.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our burgers (steak and buttermilk chicken), with a side of pan fried baby corn. The food is of very good quality and well presented. The price at £20.00 for Burger and a drink is very competitive for restaurant quality food. Service was friendly and efficient.

Courteous welcome from all the staff, superb service and the food was nothing short of exquisite! I have eaten here several times and I'm never disappointed. Ryan and the gang, you always do a fantastic job of making your customers feel like individuals, always welcome and you serve amazing, freshly prepared food... with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Bread and Butter – PrestonVisited here on Sunday morning for breakfast. We ordered a full english, avocado on toast and two coffees. We had a slight issue with the bread that was rectified and the staff couldnt do enough for us. The breakfast was lovely, the staff were very attentive and friendly and I cant wait to go back and try some other items off the menu. Great :-)

Bread and Butter – PrestonIntroduced my friends to South Planks and we had a fantastic lunch. The staff were very obliging, especially after my arrival 40 minutes late due to roadworks! Two of us had the daily salad bowl with feta, which was fresh, plentiful and delicious, and the third in our party had "the best bacon sandwich she'd ever had out" with the tomatos and mushrooms on the side. Again a generous portion size. One of my friends is planning to return next week with other friends, which is a great recommendation. The only disappointment was that the shop had stopped selling the furnishings and knick knacks, as we had planned a browse round afterwards, but that may be out of the cafe's control.

Bread and Butter – PrestonWe visited on Saturday night, the service was brilliant, soon after being seated we ordered drinks and then food only a few minutes later. We chose several dishes from the tapas menu, the food service was very prompt, we waited maybe only 5-10 minutes before our first items arrived and every item was delicious! The sweet potato fries were exceptional, many places that serve sweet potato fries in my experience often get them wrong but these were spot on. They were hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. When we had finished we sat outside in the sun for another drink before settling our very reasonable bill, and then headed into penwortham to continue our evening. We will 100% be coming back again!
