The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWent here as my friends 60th birthday. Its a long time since I have eaten here the last time we didn't book and turned away because stop serving in 30 minutes for food. Turkey Roast was ok roasted potatoes cooked but looked insipid in colour. Lamb rump curry Bombay potatoes. Verg spicy. Veg were more stir fried and crunchy and Bombay potatoes just new potatoes skins on tossed in sauce. No rice, No Nan Bread so not filling at all and at £16.95 a very expensive lamb steak. Tiramisu nice flavour but very heavy. Not sure what cream topping was? Very solid. 2 mains 1 pud bottle wine 2 coffees nearly £65.00 . Looked like traditional fish and chips better value. All sounds very negative but just want to be honest.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe booked a table for four, 1pm on a Sunday. Good service and delicious food. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Not our first visit and no doubt not our last. Really enjoyed our meal.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe booked a table for 5 - mid-week for work colleagues. Second visit for us this year. Lovely atmosphere - very Christmassy! Food was well presented and tasted fantastic and good portion sizes. Service good too.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallA fabulous evening - great atmosphere, fantastic service, and the food… goodness me! It was absolutely sensational! Thank you!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallSecond visit and equally impressed with quality and selection. Daughter being gluten free is often restricted choice but is more than happy with the options for her. Good selection of drinks as well. Well worth a visit.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe were a party of 6 adults, our pre-booked table was ready shortly after we arrived and we were quickly seated with menus. Our food was delicious, good portion sizes, served on hot plates by attentive staff. We will definitely be going again, it was very busy even on a midweek day so I highly recommend booking.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGorgeous food once again. Great atmosphere and lovely helpful staff. Just a fantastic place ❤️ Would recommend a visit just so you can write another brilliant review.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAbsolutely delicious food. Had the prawn and cod tacos and they are honestly the most delicious thing I’ve ever had!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely food and fabulous service
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMy husband and I came for a meal on Saturday night. It was very busy but we were seated at our table in time and served quickly. The food and service were outstanding. Every dish was delicious, in particular the scallops were divine. We’ve eaten here many times and it gets better each time. A fabulous meal and great atmosphere in the restaurant. Can’t wait to return!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallThis is the second time we have eaten here in the last few weeks and the standard of food was excellent both times. The service is good , friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Would certainly recommend it.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely surroundings and great food. The Christmas dinner was outstanding. The service is excellent and they took into account our specific seating needs. We have been several times before and will certainly be returning.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallPros: great food, good drinks menu, most staff are friendly. If you want middle aged rowdy, rather than fake ID rowdy with the kids in the bars further down, it’s ideal. Downside: deafeningly noisy. Having to talk loudly all through your meal so the person next to you can just about hear you, is draining. Also, it’s small plates that come in waves, and our sultry waiter just placed the new plates he brought on top of the old ones, rather than taking them away, until it was such a cramped mess, we cleared some of it away ourselves and put them on the bar. Bear in mind this venue is a bar as well as a restaurant, and there’s no real divide between the two, so avoid weekend evenings if you’re looking for a relaxing meal out.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe loved it at A'Vucciria. We chose 5 dishes between two of us, plus dessert and I thought that was perfect. We recommend the bruschetta and lamb, although we enjoyed every dish! Very good service and the cocktails where also delicious. What a little gem, we will definitely be back!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe have been to this establishment 3 times in the past month. Every time it just gets better. Great service and excellent food. Also, you get great portions at a reasonable price. Well pleased customers.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent food. Plenty of choice. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Good value for money.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallReally lovely atmosphere and beautiful food. The cheese and onion pie is one of the best around and the sticky toffee pudding is Devine. Each time I have been it's been a lovely experience well done.
