A’Vucciria – RawtenstallLovely food and a great atmosphere..will be back
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallSecond visit last night here last night after the first time being really impressed. Again, service was excellent, staff are very friendly and attentive, nothing is ever a problem when asking or requesting anything. Really please to find a place locally to me that has a separate plant based menu. Most places nearby only have one or two options. These have a seperate plant based and vegetarian menu which was amazing. I had the vegan satay and it was lush! Reasonably priced too, definitely a place to go for a well deserved treat!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMy friend and I enjoyed a leisurely catch-up lunch on Thursday, sharing one of the lunchtime platters, which included a glass of wine each. The food was excellent and the service very good. We sat in a window booth and, while there was a good atmosphere, it was quiet enough to have a conversation and not feel too hectic.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallExcellent meal on Saturday evening with my parents and husband. But very, very noisy and cramped… Saturday is the busiest time to be fair, originally assigned to a table downstairs next to bar, very, very busy area! Then, my thanks to lovely person who let us know a better place upstairs for 4 of us to try have a conversation in BSL/speech and really enjoyed the delicious meal!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFantastic food, service and atmosphere. Consistently good.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallAmazing food as always. Absolutely love this restaurant, the staff friendly and attentive, great atmosphere , good quality wine and top notch food
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallLovely evening dining at the Whitchaff catching up with a friend. Staff were polite and friendly. Food was tasty (we had starter, main, pudding).
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWent to Whitchaff with 2 friends. Haven’t been there for years. We all thoroughly enjoyed our mealsGreat choice of menus including vegetarian . Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will go back.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallBest place around. Atmosphere is great and food is amazing
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFirst time since refurb and the restaurant is lovely, very nice decor. Brilliant white chocolate raspberry cheesecake! Wine by the glass was good too, you can't say that everywhere.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGood food, good service, nice atmosphere. Spent a very enjoyable evening.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallEight of us went for a Sunday evening meal and our booked table was all ready for us. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Drinks orders were taken straight away. It's hard to choose from such an extensive menu but once we'd ordered, the food arrived after only about 20 minutes. All our various dishes were freshly cooked, good quality, hot, nicely presented and happily consumed! We were asked on more than one occasion if everything was OK. Some of us managed to fit a pudding in and, again, they were all lovely and eagerly eaten. The Whitchaff has been very well refurbished fairly recently so the surroundings are fresh and pleasant. Unfortunately, we could not take advantage of their lovely outdoor area (which has stunning views) on that particular summer's evening because of the torrential rain. We have eaten at The Whitchaff many times and will continue to go there in the future as we cannot fault it for consistently good food.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat as always
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe visited recently for lunch and myself and my friend had a lovely meal. We were lucky enough to get a table by the big window and could enjoy the beautiful view. The food was gorgeous and its a lovely restaurant since it has been upgraded. The only thing I would say was we couldn't open the window as it was really hot and the staff member who served us was not very friendly which was a first as we are regulars and would not put us off returning as we love this place and come alot.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallKnown about this gem for some time but never visited as we prefer spontaneous nights out and previously unable to book at short notice. However, on this occasion we booked a table that afternoon (Saturday too), and have to say it was well worth the wait. So much so, we will definitely be back, even if we have to plan and book in advance. Loved the atmosphere, the staff were all very attentive, and the menu and specials were hard to choose from as it all sounded and looked divine. The food didn’t disappoint either, everything we had was so tasty, and if anything, the advice of 4 to 5 dishes between two is a little much as we ended up taking quite a bit home. Would highly recommend everything and will be back soon.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallWe really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious. The only problem was choosing from such a wide range of interesting dishes! Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We were a little surprised at the cost of our non alcoholic drinks (sparkling water and black decaff coffee), but I suspect that's a symptom of the economic climate and prices of everything going up. Overall, excellent food in a very pleasant atmosphere. We will return!
