Very rude waitress, decor lovely
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent food and service. Great selection of dishes available and it was all tasty and freshly prepared. Can’t wait to return!
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallPoor service, poor food with a poor price tag. So disappointed after hearing good reviews!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallExcellent service and superb tasty food with good sized portions .
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat food an very helpful staff. What more could you ask for!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThis was the first time we'd been back to The Whitchaff since it's refurb. I found the booking process online very easy, although next time I might see if I can ask for a particular table in the 'extra info' box. I had the Lancashire burger, which was delicious; Allan had the fish and chips with mushy peas. The refurb is lovely, very classy, and the service we received was spot on - friendly and not too pushy. We will definitely be back as I want to try the sharing platters!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAlways good food. Good service and a pleasant atmosphere.. would definitely recommend.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWill never eat here again. We were sat at a high table in direct sunshine. Could hardly see but were not offered a different table. The girl serving who came for our drinks order didn't even know what drinks they had. She had to go and check. The food was ok but nothing special and quite expensive. The place was so loud we could barely hear each other. If you want a nice relaxing dining experience avoid this place.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallNo impressed, food wasn't great at all. Ordered Caesar salad, expecting Caesar salad but we received a Chicken breast, with two strips of bacon and 4 pieces of fried bread on top of a very small amount of mixed lettuce. The side order of chips was not cooked properly and still hard in the middle. Dressing was minimal and in a bowl as was the parmesan. really not what we expected at all. Further more we were brought our bill and asked how we were paying as we had just ordered coffee, we hadn't ordered the bill and felt very rushed out. Not a pleasant experience all in all.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe had a lovely lunch at the Whitchaff Inn - the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely food and excellent service
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallEnjoyed a great meal and we were spoiled for choice with the variety on the menu to choose from, we both had the fish tacos and they were delicious. Lovely staff and a fab place to go.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe found The Whichaff by its reviews on Trip Advisor and it didn’t disappoint. The food, staff and setting are all excellent! If you are looking for a lovely pub that’s serves top notch pub food then this is the place. The food wipes the floor with the fisherman’s retreat which is twice the price.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely food and service. An extensive adult menu and great childrens menu. We had the fishmongers board which was plenty for the two of us.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely surroundings, staff good and friendly. Food was nice although a separate jug of extra gravy for my steak pie and chips would have been nice. I'm sure if I would have asked I would have got it ! Will happily return, maybe for lunch sat outside enjoying the view
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallPopped in for an early evening mid week meal yesterday. Hadn’t been before, but will certainly be back. Lovely food - I had the lamb and halloumi burger and my partner had chicken shashlik. We shared the cod goujons nibbles as a quick starter. All was delicious, the service polite, friendly and speedy and the beer delicious. We hale from Stockport and would expect nothing less from a Robbie’s pub!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe visited on the 6 June for a family birthday. The food and service were great. Lots of choice on the menu, all 6 of us had something different and we all really enjoyed our meals. Staff really efficient and polite. 5 stars.
