When the appetiser of Spanish olives arrived - covered with sweet chilli dipping sauce!!? - we should have realised this was a sign of things to come, and told the staff we had changed or minds. We didn't, and ordered 2 courses each from the lunch menu. The duck salad was drowned in gloopy hoi sin sause which surely must have been from a jar. The piri piri sauce wasn't at all hot, again clearly from a jar. The skinny fries were not cooked or seasoned nor was the home made coleslaw, which wasn't fresh - more chewy than crunchy. What can only be described as stainless steel dog bowls were provided to place the bones of diabetes inducing sweet but not sticky ribs in.Even though no one in our party ordered a single Italian dish, the waitresses attentively offered cracked black pepper with all dishes which we found both amusing and odd.Despite the terrible food and ill informed chef, service was excellent. If you're the kind of person who thinks olives go with sweet chilli dipping sauce, and you're willing to pay a chef who thinks along the same lines - this is the place for you.

I lunch at 107 every week with a group of friends and in the 2 or 3 years we have been doing this, I have yet to have a bad experience. The service is excellent - all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is changed on a regular basis and the chef's are innovative and always willing to accommodate our wishes. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Oh Yes! the food is absolutely great as well.

We went on Sunday evening and the food was lovely. The staff were great with my daughter and it was a very pleasant way to spend my birthday

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Surprisingly quiet (but it is holiday season). Menu was very good and portions just right for a lunchtime (don't expect a large lunch - but it's just right if you don't want to feel stuffed and not able to eat later!). The carbonara was outstanding. Only quibble was that the extras are quite expensive - £1.65 for a small glass of diet coke and £3, yes £3!!!, for a small bowl of skinny fries. It was our own fault, the waitress asked us if we wanted them to go with the meal and we said yes without checking the price. That put up the cost of the £6.95 lunch menu considerably. Finally - the hot chocolate is to die for!!!

Best restaurant in town by far, cool vibe awesome staff and sensational food and wine.

Excellent food and atmosphere but £9.30 for three pints of lime and soda was a complete rip-off and soured our evening.

When you compare this restaurant with others in the locality, you can be certain that the food and the service will be to ones satisfaction. The early doors menu is good and the menu is very clear about any extras. I have always found 107 Dinning Room never to disappoint

Good food with good service. Watch out for the "early doors" the menu is quite basic, but with extra for this and extra for that. Pushing the wine to a more expensive one can end up with an "cheap" early doors costing £50 pounds per couple. Stick to the basic menu to get reasonable value for money.

Quite nice. Nice food, but the staff seem quite stressed, they must be a bit busy.
