Autumn menu just up, really a very good selection and variety for the lunch time.Staff as always very friendly and knowledgeable.Just a nice place to visit any time, but lunch is very good and well priced.
Disapointed Vegetarian
Having had many fine meals here. We were a bit disappointed with the Bistro Xmas Menu. Not a single vegetarian option on it.
I'm sure the chefs would knock us something up if we got there. . .But that is really not the point. With so many good venues now in Liverpool we will be taking our custom elsewhere this Christmas.
Come on Hope Street....surely you can do better than that.
Maybe some veggie and even Vegan options next year for me and my animal loving friends?

Just had an amazing night at 60 Hope Street. A lovely restaurant that's not a bit pretentious.
The staff were attentive without being intrusive, food and drink was utterly divine. We have large appetites and the quantity was plenty and more importantly the quality and freshness of the food was superb. Will definitely go back.

I recently ate here with 5 other people. 5 of us chose to eat from the offer of 3 courses for £17.95 including a bottle of wine per couple. The staff were great however the food was very disappointing for supposedly one of the best restaurants in Liverpool. Both starters and mains looked great but were very bland. The desserts tasted extremely sour and the flavours didn't compliment each other at all. One of the group ordered the fish and chips which you would think would be easy enough to cook but even that was cooked wrong!

This is an outstanding place to eat. We we in a party of 14 and opted for the early evening set menu - it was flawless. Often, set meals can be disappointing, but this was certainly NOT the case here! Every mouthful was utterly divine and everyone was raving about the sheer quality of the food on offer. Staff were amazing - the service was exceptional without being obsequious or obtrusive - water / wine / bread constantly offered. Wow. I have been here a couple of times before and been amazed by it on each occasion. As for the 'battle' between here and the London Carriage Works - both are fab and it's great to see such quality in Liverpool; we need more restaurants of this calibre in the city.

Been to both the restaurant and Bistro in the last month- both have excellent service and food, and in my opinion far better than the more expensive London Carriage Works. Definitely recommend. A good, varied and competitively priced menu - lovely ambience.

Me and my mum love coming here, they have special offers on beofre 6.30 week days - 3 courses 16.95 and a bottle of wine for two!! We try to go at least once a month, you can't beat the price, the staff are friendly, some reviews say you don't get much on your plate, but if you get the 3 course offer I find its just enough to fill you. Definitely worth a try!! A*****

I visited this restaurant last year and have been planning to go back ever since. I took my boyfriend there as a birthday surprise. We visited Liverpool for 4 days and nights from Ireland and I had spent a very long time researching which restaurant would be the best to bring someone as a birthday present.
This restaurant exceeded our expectations. It is the best restaurant I have eaten in a number of years. The service is excellent and the ambiance is the best you ill get. As for the food, that speaks for itself. This restaurant is priced as it should be for a top restaurant. You will not be disappointed by this beautiful place.

Good, but not as good as TLCW.

This restaurant may be too expensive for most to visit often, however, as a special treat it is absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, with just the right amount of flavour combinations, and the service was incredibly attentive without being too pushy. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again, probably as part of a larger group as I would not hesitate to recommend it!
