This is a fantastic restaurant. The chef is creative and imaginative - food is stunning the only restaurant in Edinburgh where I have found dosa on the menu. We eat at 9 cellars frequently and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or service. Good wine list if you are not snobbish about drinking wine with curries.

We booked table for large group X Mas party last friday. That was such a fantastic meal-I can;t praise it highly enough.We had heard great things about the food here.We were sitting 25pax in private dining room with bar. service was very friendly.My babli handi was like none I had ever tasted before-lovely well cooked lame with veg & flavoured with Indian rum. Everyone in my group was pleased. I am already looking for a good excuse to go back...

The head chef of 9 cellars won The best international indian chef of the year 2007 The food is sublime,tasty imaginative,well presented and unlike any indian food I have been offered. This is probably the best indian restaurant in edinburgh
