I have visited the Academy Restaurant many times and feel I have found a little gem that I am almost reluctant to give this review incase it becomes to popular and I can't get in. The food is fantastic and the young students who will be our chefs of tomorrow cook and serve wonderful fresh food at very reasonable prices.

This restaurant situated behind Sapporos on Duke Street is gaining a solid reputation for the quality of its food & service. The restaurant is staffed by student chefs under the guidance of experienced Tutors. The standard of food available is modern British and cannot be bettered locally at the prices charged. I have eaten off both the lunch and evening menus and have not been disappointed. If you have not visited yet do try, it is well worth the effort.
