About Aikton Arms
The Cumbrian village of Aikton is close to Wigton, Carlisle and the Scottish border and the Aikton Arms is the quintessential village pub. It dates back to the eighteenth century and has a cosy and welcoming feel with a real fire, friendly staff and a reputation for its delicious home-cooked food. The Aikton Arms is open evenings Friday to Tuesday and for Sunday lunch serving a wide selection of British pub classics as well as some starters with a twist like their popular Spicy chicken nachos. They have lots of gluten-free dishes, a good choice of vegan and vegetarian options, a specials board and most days a two-course deal for just £14.50. Dogs are welcome.
