About Amalia Italian Restaurant
Spread over two floors on Liverpool’s secluded Campbell Square and with an extensive al fresco dining area complete with heaters and large umbrellas, Amalia is an Italian restaurant based on family and friendship. Founders Miguel and Antonio have been working together since 2007 and the name itself represents their bond – ‘A’ for Antonio and ‘M’ for Miguel combined with ‘Italia’. The restaurant is open every day from 12 noon through to 11pm and a good-value lunch menu runs until 5pm. Expect all the classic Italian choices such as pizzas, pasta, risotto and fish and meat mains as well as a selection of burgers. Chef Antonio Lixi was named Italian Chef of the Year and the Italian Awards and over the years they have also picked up garlands for Best Pizza and Best Team. To complement the food there’s a vast range of Italian wines, beers and spirits as well as a cocktail and spritz menu. And at weekends, weather permitting, there is live music.
