Went to Angelos for a party night. £28 pounds for very disappointing food, poor service and little entertainment.Won't be going again

I had a great birthday at angelo's on Friday night, the food was excellent and the menu the best i have seen for a long time, the staff were very friendly and the service was great.I now have some where to take my new boyfriend on valentine's.

I have visited Angelo's several times since their refurb in November. My first visit was with my Mum ad friend where we sampled the new menu options..I had the Ceaser Salad which was delicious! I returned for my works do mid Dec and the service and food for 35 of us was excellent! I there fore returned for my birthday two weeks ago where 10 of us sat on a lovely round table and had a fantastic night. The decor is classy yet comfortable and the staff attentive and polite. I recently found out Angelo's is part of the same group as San Marco (Much Hoole).......enough said! Keep up the good work!

Fantastic food. Even give us a small shot of lemon type of shot, fabulous. Romantic and fab service.

Enjoyed a very good lunch in the newly refurbed Angelos before embarking on Christmas shopping. I had Saffron Salmon Ravioli and my missus the spicy pasta. Interesting new menu with non Italian options too. The refurb is modern and slick without being too contemporary. impressed!

8 of us dined here on 14th February. one word - appalling. the food was cold and late, the staff were useless and unhelpful and the place has gone really downhill. The toilets were dirty and the decor shoddy. We were sat for 40 minutes before someone came to take a drinks order. 3 of the party ordered the same main course and all 3 looked totally different. When we complained that the main courses were cold, the staff were rude and unhelpful.
For this to be owned by the same family who have the fabulous Italian Orchard, Pinocchio's and San Marco is an embarrassment. I will certainly not be returning. It was a joke.

The best restaurant since 1977 it was in the other side of the road at number 16
the best pasta and pizzas of Lancashire, it made the history of the Italian food in Lancashire, and also it as been at school for all the Italians wich now have the restaurants in many towns in Lancashire .
Angelos Italian Restaurant
What a gem of an Italian restaurant, food was great and lovely staff who all appeared to be Italian, definitely worth a visit.

The food is Ok, but I prefer the Italian drinks, Vedezuno involves honey and peach which is really good.
