Anokha – literally ‘unique’ in Hindi – is an upmarket Indian restaurant housed in a former tea warehouse in the City of London. The listed building is close by The Gherkin and the Lloyds building and is open Monday to Friday from 11am to 11pm, attracting a regular City clientele. The spacious basement restaurant and bar has a contemporary and luxuriant feel with clothed tables, latticed windows and mood lighting setting the tone. As well as the extensive a la carte selection, Anokha has two set Tasting Menus and a Vegan Menu and a good choice of wines including Cristal. There is also a Gold Card Loyalty Scheme where you can redeem points for free meals. Anokha can also be booked for weddings and special events at weekends.
