Avanti is a classic Italian restaurant situated in the heart of buzzy Jesmond, close by the West Jesmond Metro station. With its pretty covered terrace out front and its quirky and atmospheric interior, Avanti is a great place to sit and soak up the village vibe. Expect a traditional Italian menu with lots of pizza and pasta choices as well as gluten-free options and a selection of Italian wines and spirits. Open from 12 noon Wednesday though Sunday and from 4pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.
