About Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin
A recent addition to the Hotel du Vin family, the Avon Gorge Hotel boasts a spectacular location with panoramic views out across the Avon Gorge and Clifton Suspension Bridge. Renovation work on the White Lion Bar has been completed and you can eat and drink here in the refurbished interior or al fresco on one of the largest terraces in the south west. Summer 2018 sees the launch of a new restaurant too, Goram & Vincent, which makes the most of the views across the gorge. It will be a meat eater’s mecca, with big hand cut steaks by the 100g and mouth-watering thick cut fillets, with a gritty, earthy smoke house feel and an open kitchen with coal-fired grills, a smoker and bespoke clay ovens. Rooms and suites have all been reworked too with colourful accents and stylish wooden furniture to complement the dark greys, navy and green colour palette.
