Positioned on the edge of Harwood in a semi-rural location, Italian restaurant Baci offers an escape from the daily grind and allows you to fall into the romance of old-school Italian hospitality. Baci translates as 'Kisses' and the owner has refurbished what was an old pub turning it into a contemporary and stylish 150-cover restaurant and bar which lends itself perfectly to creating an exciting dining experience. The separate bar area has seating and can be used even if you're not dining in the restaurant. The wine list has plenty of good-value choice and wines by the glass and there are lots of draught and bottled beers available. The large dining room has a conservatory area which can be used for functions and parties. Live musicians perform every other Thursday playing Jazz and R&B and on the weekends they see larger tables which cater for parties of up to 40 diners. The menus cover all your Italian favourites with plenty of choice of great value Pizza, Pasta and Risotto, with classic steaks and other grilled meats and fish. The other side to Baci is an authentic Italian cuisine that is peppered throughout the menu; try the starter of King Prawns in garlic, chilli and lemon sauce and mains such as medallions of Veal with Speck, finished with a brandy, mushroom, cream sauce or one of the eight different steak dishes. The specials change weekly and offer plenty of fish, seafood and meat dishes with Mediterranean influence; examples may include starters of Mussels, Whitebait or stuffed Calamari and mains such as Squid Ink pasta with mixed seafood, finished with garlic, wine, chilli and parsley topped with crispy Pancetta or whole Sea bass with thyme and saffron. Most of the menu is available for takeaway and delivery. Open seven days 6pm-Late.
