Favourite Indian restaurant in the Preston area. Been around for years serving consistent quality. The place has a touch of glamour too. Nice guys who own it.

We visited here last night on a quiet thurs evening. Our welcome was particularly welcoming, the decor was unique and we were made to feel right at home. The meal was gorgeous, the chips were home made and the lamb was so tender it was divine. Our waiter who may well have been the manager could not have been any more accommodating. everyone really went that extra mile with our welcome, service and food. I will definately be going back again and would reccommend anyone esle to visit. Thumbs up!

We visited Bangla tonight on a quiet mid week evening. The staff were extremely welcoming and along with the unique warm decor , we were made to feel right at home. We had poppadoms and chutney intially. After mentioning to our waiter that we liked particularly spicy food, he came out with an additional sauce for us to try which was very tasty. He then offered to write down the ingredients for us to enable us to make it at home. We then had starters which were chicken pakoras and a mixed kebab. Both very nice. To finish we shared a main meal which was a tandori mixed grill with rice, chips (home made) and garlic naan bread. Everything we had was delicious, particularly the lamb. Our waiter could not have been more accommodating and informative (recommending we come back on tues night where they have a special lamb shank evening and also do a tandori barbeque). The overall experience was very enjoyable and I will definately visit again. The staff really took every opportunity to go that extra mile with everything. Thumbs up!

We recently had my wife's birthday party at Bangla Fusion and right from the offset the team were very accommodating and took on board all our requests. We had about 50 guests so it was a tough task for them to ensure all the food came out in a timely manor. I am happy to say that it did and as usual the food was excellent. We have eaten in many Indian Restaurants and Bangla Fusion is definitely near the top in our ratings. The team are very friendly and always make you feel right at home. The waiters are very sociable and are always good fun to talk to. All in all I cannot thank them enough for making the evening so special and additionally I really would recommend that you give them a try!

An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The surroundings are plush and welcoming. The food is outstanding, as are the staff and the evening was altogether fabulous.

Having read the positive recommendations from other subscribers to this website we visited this restaurant on Saturday 18th September to take advantage of an offer of 20% reduction of the total bill as advertised in Live Preston.
The restaurant website and menu is great and the restaurant itself is lovely and the service is good but the food was the worst I have eaten in any Indian restaurant in Lancashire. You would fare much better at any takeaway and it was not a patch on the ready made Indians from Asda.
We started with poppadoms and a mixed pickle tray. The pickles you will recognise as you can buy them yourselves from any supermarket. We then ordered the Bangla Combo Platter. The kebabs were very processed - probably frozen, the fried aubergines were greasy and tasted of batter and the spring rolls tasted of nothing .
We had different main courses. I had Chicken tandoori which was dry and tasteless. I made the mistake of ordering chicken off the bone so I ended up with meat that tasted reconstituted. My partner had Bangal Kursi and the lamb was overcooked and although he was provided with a sharp knife the meat was so dry he could not swallow it without a drink of water. The Rajshah scallops tasted like bits of jelly in tomato sauce. We were offered replacement meals but by this time we just wanted to leave. When we asked for the bill we were overcharged.I do not think we are over discerning eaters we just like good food well cooked. You will get neither at this restaurant.

Went for a curry with my girlfriend after hearing good things about Bangla Fusion. We had a friendly greeting and were seated with menus and drinks to decide what to have to eat. The surroundings are great for this, lots of comfy sofas.
We were taken to our table and enjoyed some poppadoms and skipped straight to the mains. I had an Aje-Baje - chicken tikka - with a naan bread. It was the right amount of spice for me. Girlfriend had a fusion dish, with a spicy salmon with rice. Portions were excellent, service friendly and the price reasonable. Didn't realise they did a special offer on a Sunday between 1 PM 0 6 PM with three courses for around £12. Bargain!
A good restaurant, in the running for an F-word nomination and a jewel in the crown of Lancashire's restaurant scene.

The restaurant decor was quite nice, but the bar was self service and I felt that the price for water and accompaniments was way over the top, considering the prices which were charged for what I found to be quite average food. Overall, the food was ok but not worth what they were asking. In my opinion if someone is happy to pay these prices for Indian food, the Indian gourmet evening at truffles restaurant in whittle-le-woods is definitely superior.

I`d have to agree with Mrs K - Oct 08 - The place does not live up to its press, unfortunately.
Toilets dreadful - only half the place open and service that lacked any flair.
The food was passable though we`ve enjoyed better. I`m afraid we wouldn`t rush back

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Lancashire. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is delicious and the service is even better. Its the best Indian food I have ever tasted.
An experience not to be missed!
