About Barrique Wine Bar and Deli

Jake Crimmin, former sommelier at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant and head sommelier at Gaucho, has partnered with local restaurateurs Charles Furnell and Michael Robinson to bring Barrique to Lytham. The wine shop, deli and bar boasts state-of-the-art wine vending machines by Wineemotion serving wine by the glass at a perfect temperature, giving you the opportunity to sample wines from around the globe without committing to an entire bottle. Barrique is open for morning coffee with pastries, a glass or two with lunch and is a one-stop-shop for all your wine needs. Food offerings include an assortment of small plates, meats and cheeses sourced from local suppliers across Lancashire. There is an outdoor terrace with seating overlooking the Lytham Cenotaph and it's the perfect spot to while away an afternoon. Or if you want to broaden your wine knowledge, give one of the regular wine tasting evenings a go.

it's all happening in Lytham at the moment. Barrique is a great addition to the Lytham dining/drinking scene. A great spot in the old butchers shop opposite the cenotaph. We enjoyed a couple of cheeky glasses of chilled rose from their tricky wine dispenser with my Barrique credit card :) Great to watch the world go by in exceedingly pleasant surroundings.

First impressions good if a tad expensive five pounds for house wine per glass. We went on Tuesday and was told hey bring your dog in we are dog friendly cool ee spent fifty quid had a nice afternoon. We went back today filled up a charge card then was informed a executive decision had been made no more dogs. Not happy should have been no dogs from day one they are missing a trick lots of people who are locals with dogs and tourists. Wait till winter where you will relay on local businesses. Pretentious b*******

My new favourite place in Lytham. Partly as it really feels like your not in lytham. France maybe. Great wine selection. Have topped up my Barrique wine payment card and look forward to sampling many more vino's!
