This restaurant is a joke. Yes the traditional chinese food is ok but so is Great Wall and Blue sky. As a student from China I have been to many many chinese restaurant and tai pai dong. In my culture, time is money and money is time. So when we go into restaurants we are the boss because we pay the money. I was in last wednesday and the place was not busy. We were the second table in and to me that it not busy. So when all three of us asked for a pearl drink, the four-eye woman told us that we had to wait 45 minutes because she was too busy. I said to her that its silly because the other table was a hotpot (self service cooking soup meal) how can she be busy. She didn't like it and told us to drink coke instead. We complained to the other staff and they all said that this glasses woman is the boss and when she says no then it's no. So I think we will go to Great wall next time when food is delivered or served within 20 minutes no matter how busy they are. BC restaurant has alot to learn because compare to all the restaurant in China and HK,,,,, this is a waiting to shut down restaurant especiallly with girls who work there and don't smile and is bad manners

Won't/never will go back to this restaurant again. This is a very racist restaurant. Unless you're one of their race then they will treat you like rubbish. After reading a glowing report about this place, we decided to go there for our sons birthday. We asked for downstairs but the woman with the glasses just hurried us upstairs. My best friend asked the woman with the glasses if they did anything for birthdays and she replied 'ok'. Then a few Chinese customers came and sat next to us. This woman with the glasses just ignored us for the rest of the night and just focused on the Chinese customers. This got our party very annoyed as its a Chinese buffet where plates are supposed to be collected yet our was piled high. The final straw was when we asked for a cake, again she said 'ok' and nothing happened. As we were getting up. This woman with the glasses blanked us and got a birthday cake for the Chinese customers. My son cried his eyes out. I shall never be going back ever again. Nor will any of my party that was with us that night. A very disgusting racist restaurant.

I have been in this restaurant several times now and I have never been disappointed. Fair enough the buffet table is now massive and looing in from the outside, it does look very run down but the food is out of this world. I have been in when it’s been a quiet night and the food is always fresh. Overall, when it comes to food wise, I have no complaints. However, when it comes to the staff, I’m afraid I have to say I am a bit disappointed. The young gentlemen who works there is always very pleasant. The old woman behing the bar is, well to put it nicely, has constant PMT. The usual girls are always nice enough but tend to look harassed on weekends. My complaint is one of the woman there (skinny with glasses on) she was extremely rude to me and my family. I don’t know if it’s because she can’t speak English but her mannerism was absolutely terrible. She came over to our table and rather than asking us what we would like to drink. She abruptly said ‘what do you want’ and when we said just one drink and a jug of water. she replied back ‘is that it’? The disgust on her face was terrible. My daughter felt very uncomfortable around her. The constant staring that we got off her was awful. I had to stop my husband from going over to ask her to take her mask off cos Halloween was over cos she was making even the sweet desserts turn sour. Apart from the service that we got off this woman, the food is always great

Fantastic venue. The food is amazing, the environment friendly and clean, the food is served fresh every 10-20 mins, it is easily the best buffet restaurant in Bradford we have been back about 6 times and will definitely go back more in the future.

Had our work Christmas party here. We had a fantastic time. The bar upstairs was opened just for us which we thought it was great cos it was busy downstairs. Plus the young girl behind the bar was so much more friendly and chatty than the not so nice one downstairs. Some of the party didn't feel comfortable standing in the queue when she was staring at us. Maybe she should take a leaf out of the girl upstairs in the bar. Starters were also brought to the table to avoid the queues. The food was great. Everyone loved the crab with ginger and spring onions. The service was faultless. Big thank you to the three girls who looked after us. Loved the cheesy songs, it was great. Shame that it only had a small dance floor. There was a bit of a queue for the main meals downstairs due to a number of big parties in as well. However, we were all well entertained by the manager there. Not only that, he also kept running up and down the stairs to inform us when the queue was quiet and when it was busy. For £11 for the Christmas buffet. it was well worth the value. The only complaint I have is that there isn't a lift for disable ppl to go upstairs.

Compliments to the chefs for the fantastic food. The last time I was at this restaurant was roughly about two years ago when it was called Kongs. I/we were absolutely disgusted with the quality of the food which is the reason why I never went back. I only by chance found out it had changed owner through the bradford food guide website plus with good comments on Sugarvine that I decided to give it a try. There is a lot of great dish to choose from. I loved the aromatic duck. Another dish which I believe is spicy tofu was really nice. There's just as much desserts to choose from as well. The sponge cake and the cheese cakes are my favourites. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. All the staff there are very friendly apart from the old-ish woman behind the bar who was so miserable, in fact we thought her face might crack if she had smiled. I think I remembered her from when it was Kongs. The new owner of BC is really nice, a perfect host. The young manager there who alot of people have commented on this site is indeed very nice lad. He made this cool 'geordie special' for a little girl who sat behind us. We all thought it was a nice touch. Now that we've tried this place out, I'm pretty sure we'll be back very soon. Hopefully, when we next come in that the old woman behind the bar can smile (well, learn to) .

I was in here a couple of weeks ago with the lads from work. It was our work do and we thought we'll give this restaurant a go cos a few of our friends have been in before and was really impressed with it. The staff were friendly especially one in particular (Emily) Food was great no cheap rip offs, plenty of dishes to choose from, alcohols were reasonably prices (unlike some Chinese restaurants) Had a good laugh with the Geordie lad, Paul who's the manager there. (who claims that he's not one of the owners.. Whatever!) Overall, myself and the lads had a real good night. Definitely found our place to go for Chinese food in Bradford! Well done Guys!

It's the first time I've been to this Chinese restaurant. I didn't realised that it was there until my husband saw an ad in the telegraph. I was surprisingly impressed with the food. I don't normally go for buffet foods as I much prefer A-la-carte (not that I'm lazy but it's just that I tend to find buffet foods either too stale and dry or too greasy) Anyway, I've been told by the manager that they do, do a-la-carte as well as buffet foods. We decided to try the buffet food out and was very impressed with the dishes. There was alot of choices to choose from and each dish was cooked to perfection. There was also alot of different choices of desserts to choose from. The sponge cake was to die for. My husband and I would definitely go back again, probably try out the a-la-carte menu. The staff were very friendly. My husband enjoyed talking to the manager who seemed very nice. We had a good giggle with him. A really nice geordie lad (yes in a Chinese restaurant) Definitely recommend this place to all friends and families
