You cannot get better than this cafe. It is a basic cafe but the quality is exceptional. If you are lucky enough to get an outside table the views across the harbour are truly superb.
I would also say that the staff are great, very helpful and friendly. No teenage girls with long faces here. Always have a smile for their customers. We visit St Ives every month and always have lunch her.

I thought this place was great. It's your basic cafe and the menu is basic too, but what sets it apart is that they take such care over all the food. I went three times in three days and had baked potato with mackerel, tea and cake, and a crab salad that excellent. The staff are friendly and it's always busy, even on a damp day out of season. Word has clearly got around that this is a good place to come.
