As usual had to have a family night at Becks, caught the train to Carbis Bay and walked up the big hill. Surprised as it had been refurbed, thanks to the help of a daughter. Food still as mouth wateringly good. Travelling back this week to finish the summer. Really looking forward to sitting and eating in Becks.

Visited Becks fish and chips Carbis bay 18/9/13 in the evening. Great service and great food. Huge portion of fish and chips. The best I ever had. Thanks guys , will be back in the area soon and will call again.

This is one of the best fish and chip shops (with a restaurant attached) in Cornwall! The staff are very attentive, the portions are huge and if you eat in the restaurant their desserts are to die for!

This was the first time my children had eaten proper fish and chips, as Becks was able to cater for their Gluten Free diet and provided a truly delicious meal not once but twice in the week we were holidaying close to St. Ives.
I would recommend Becks fish and chips to anyone going to the area regardless of whether they needed the gluten free batter or not.
I wish I lived closer to eat there more often.

I was really disappointed after taking up a recommendation to visit this place. The staff were uninterested, the chips were literally bathed in oil - about half an inch of it, I kid you not! - and the fish was nothing special. My recommendation - make the effort and drive up to Padstow to Rick Stien's place - it's worth it!
