Had dinner here last month and it never fails to impress. The presentation is awesome and the wine list an oenologist's wet dream. Nuff Said!

I love this place, atmospheric, superb well informed front of house, stunning modern European cooking with fabulous presentation and one of the best wine lists ever.

Bell's Diner produces the best food in Bristol by a country mile. I have been here many times and never once been less than overwhelmed. Everything on the plate, from the perfectly-cooked texture of the meat/fish, to the big punchy flavour of the sauces, to the immaculate presentation, screams of expertise and genuine care. To be fair, you may need to bring an adventurous palate and the (still reasonable) prices prohibit coming here all the time, but for a memorable fine dining experience there really is no other option. The staff are friendly, open, and knowledgeable without being prim or pretentious. I cannot recommend it enough, I really can't.

First visit to Bells, which we thoroughly enjoyed, the food & service was outstanding, we were staying in Bristol for a couple of nights and choose the restaurant after reading previous reviews. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Food was very very good and I have to say exciting and full of surprises! Wine list was great and we had 2 of the more expensive wines, pudding wines, cheese and coffee so this inflated the bill to around £75 per head. However would be possible to pay far less with easy and have a good amount of wine if more sensible in your choices. However you may find it hard to resist. Don't be put off by the address as some people may be, it really is worth a visit, it is one of the best meals I have had.
