The food is good, no doubt, but the whole flatrate-concept is not very flexible enough for me: You cannot bring a friend who is not hungry, you cannot really bring along women who don't want to eat half a pig - everyone has to pay 30 pounds. The management will get really angry if you don't. Besides, the music is too loud for my taste for a restaurant. I'll definitely won't go there again. I'd rather pay less and have better food at places in Didsbury like the Lime Tree, Jem and I or Piccolino or a great view in the city centre at a posh place like the Modern Times. You have to be really hungry to love Bem Brazil and I am usually not starving when I go out for a good dinner.

My husband and I ate here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, it was fabulous, make sure your hungry as there's lots to eat. Don't be put off if the bar downstairs is quiet as there's plenty of atmosphere upstairs.

A big party of us ate here last month for a birthday and we had a good time.
The live band downstairs was a touch OTT as we couldn't really hear each other speak and you do get a ridiculous amount of food.. so make sure you're hungry before you go.
