It's a fun night, though more about quantity than subtlety. A buffet of 'sides' and spuds is accompanied by a slice after slice of MEAT. Beef, chicken, pork lamb, they ALL arrive on your plate in steady small quantities delivered by a man with a big skewer. No tasty sauces, this is a BBQ and ketchup place but amusing for all that.

A group of us went to this restaurant to celebrate a friends birthday. I was anticipating an all singing, all dancing venue at the price of £25 per person. Instead I was very disappointed with the set up. Basically you choose your sides of salads, vegetables and stews from a small buffet counter, and as you are eating, a waiter will float round with a different type of meat each time, on a skewer and carve it in front of you. This way you get to try a piece of various meats including lamb, chicken, beef, pork and prawns.... All the meats are cooked over a barbecue type grill - similar to that of a rotisserie set up.
The first couple of pieces of meat tasted delicious, and the outlook was promising.... however, by the time we got the 4th piece of meat and thereafter, everything tasted extremely salty, it was like the grill chef (or rather the skewer controller) decided that there was an overspill of salt and felt that it needed to be used! I left almost half of each piece of meat offered, and my plate ended up looking like I did not touch my food!
I paid for my teenage daughter (which was not discounted) and myself, and it came to over £70!! The last time I paid these prices was at a Michelin restaurant for a THREE course meal!
Needless to say that the experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.
The frustrating thing is that I left feeling rather unsatisfied, extremely thirsty, and a very empty pocket!
Unless you like salt, I would not recommend anyone to come here... If you are willing to pay the price of over £30 which I often am, then go to a decent restaurant, that serves good quality food and get a 3 course meal!! Drinks included!
