Really enjoyed a meal here last week! I had been meaning to eat here for a while but it is a road trip for us.... Worth it though! The atmosphere was lovely, helped by the lighting. The waiter was charming and professional and bucked the norm in these parts by being engaged and happy in his work. The food was refreshingly different using flavour combinations that you don't expect or see very often and above all keeping things simple. Starters of scallops with blood orange salad and Moroccan Chemoula dressing and a twice baked cheese souffle with pecan, fig and chicory impressed us both. Mains of duck with a root veg rosti, perfectly judged greens and a quince and sherry jus and mushroom and blue cheese fettuccine with shallot, rocket and truffle oil was cooked beautifully and had bold, clean and deep flavour. Dessert of rice pudding with rhubarb and a wine with each course, would have cost well over £100 elsewhere but only £80 here.
Excellent!

Excellent food, wine and service. An oasis in the in a very bleak culinary dessert of Marazion and district.

We had the great pleasure of discovering this cosy contemporary eatery when we stayed in Marazion. The staff are very welcoming and the service is excellent. The meals were exquisitely presented and absolutely delicious.

We live locally and eat out on average once a week.Ben`s Cornish Kitchen is fast becoming a favourite. We have eaten here at lunch and in the evening , as a couple and with family and friends and have enjoyed our visits each time.Staff are friendly, the restaurant is comfortable and inviting and food is always flavourful and nicely presented. What more could you want? a bill that doesn`t break the bank.?....you get that too.!!!

I went to Ben's Cornish Kitchen for a family meal. the staff were polite, full of smiles and attentive. I ordered a starter and a main. the starter came out in good time and was delicious and different with a choice of dips, bread and olives. For a main i had steak which can always be very hit and miss but Ben's Cornish Kitchen surpassed my expectation. it was cooked exactly to order and melted in the mouth. i have often been told that a sign of a good steak is when they don't change your knife and here they really didn't have to.
Thanks Ben's Cornish Kitchen and staff, it was awesomely enjoyable and i would recommend it to anyone. five star!

This is one of the best restaurants in Cornwall.
The restaurant setting is fresh and contemporary as well as welcoming and intimate. Rob, the Maitre d, is super efficient and really friendly.
The menu is varied and the Chef keeps adding new things which is exciting, particularly as I have been there about 5 times now within the last month.
Last night we had a meal for 4 which was excellent in every respect. A few things I'd recommend for sure are:
Starter - Sea Bream Oriental Laksa and Venison Carpaccio
Main - Cornish Duck Leg Confit and Ben's [very special] Fish Pie
Pudding - Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Cornish Cheese Board is amazing - in particular the small homemade parmesan biscuits with a poppyseed crust.
All in all good food, good service, good location: good times
