About Taplow House Hotel
Taplow House is a beautiful Georgian country house hotel set in six acres of grounds. Right on the Buckinghamshire-Berkshire border, it’s conveniently located for central London, Heathrow and for Windsor, which is just 10 minutes away. Berry’s, the elegant AA-rosetted restaurant, can comfortably seat 48 diners and extends out onto a delightful south-facing terrace which is great for dining al fresco in the summer months. Head Chef Patrick Bardoulet has more than 30 years’ experience working in France, Denmark, Dubai and Scotland. A typical a la carte meal might start with Seared Scallops with Vanilla Cauliflower, Hazelnut and Yuzu followed by Loin and Neck of lamb with Smoked Aubergine, Broad Beans, Polenta, Yoghurt and Pickled Onion and to finish Frozen Cherry Parfait with White Chocolate Crémeux and Pistachio Sponge. You can also enjoy a quintessentially English Afternoon or lighter bites from the Bar Menu. In winter, the bar with its impressive fireplace really comes into its own. Taplow House has 32 rooms and suites plus various function rooms which make it a popular choice for weddings and conferences.
