We are going here soon, why can't we see any pics or go to their website like other places?

dated visited bibis 16/11/2011first impressions very grand and light eating place, we was shown to table and waiter asked if we would like a drink we asked for few minutes to study wine list , £6.80 for 250ml of white house wine little bit pricey . But then you are paying for surroundings . The waiter came to take our order seemed a little bit in a rush and i asked what a couple of the dishes were he seemed very unhelpful , still not to let it spoil our meal we ordered from a bit over priced menu ..... The food arrived FROM NOT SO FRIENDLY STAFF to be fair my chicken in mushroom sauce was OK not too bad lacking a little seasoning . My friends dish came it was meant to be chicken with mustard and mayo dressing it was tasteless and tasted like mayo dressing only ......on what most of it she left a different waitress claim to clear plates on clearing plates she asked if everything was ok to witch my friend answered no it was taste less and just like mayo dressing no mustard and very bland and she was every disappointed .NO SORRY GIVEN PLATES JUST TAKEN AWAY WITH NO WORDS ...HOW RUDE .... we then asked for bill and were told we need to pay near door on paying bill £5.70 10 service charged had been added . not very good service really ...WOULD NOT VIST AGAIN STAFF UN HELPFULL AND FOOD NOT GOOD ..........

Very good food and good waiter service the BIG downside was that our table was booked for 8.00pm but did not get seated till 9.30pm and did not eat until 10.00pm.

Awful restaurant that cannot possibly sustain the length of menu or the numbers it tries to cater for. Starters tasted like they were fried in sump oil and all 3 of my party left over half their main courses.
None of the staff asked if anything was wrong. The only comment we had from staff (five times) was to remind us that they needed our table back at 8pm for the second cover.
I will not be returning. Over priced, poor food with a shoddy service (despite the loveliness of the art decor ocean liner feel of the place).

Recommended for atmosphere, beautiful art deco surroundings and the clam chowder. No recommended for food in general, especially mediocre pizzas. Way over-priced for what it is and service friendly but slow. Also beware of over-charging on drinks.

Just had my first experience at Bibis Leeds and I was very disappointed. The food was ridiculously overpriced for what I would say was a very average meal. For instance, the "roasted garlic and minted olive oil" lamb chops which I could have easily cooked at home (if I couldn’t be bothered to cook that night) tasted of nothing more than grilled lamb chops.
I’m amazed that some reviews are actually positive. From reading a handful of reviews it seems that this restaurant relies heavily on its past reputation. The service was poor, no one bothered to check if we enjoyed our meal at any point of the evening (we didn’t!). As a result we felt obliged to remove the included optional service charge.
The one positive which we took from the evening was that we enjoyed the starter and deserts however this does not mean we will ever consider returning.

Tried the two-course lunch menu for £12.50 and was very impressed; although the strawberry risotto was a little off the wall for my taste, the spatchcock chicken and the Pizza Fiorentina were delicious. Will be going back.

I went to Bibi's in April 2007 for my mum's hen party, we was staying in The Golden Lion Hotel and someone else who was staying in the Hotel told us about Bibi's, Well they was wright the food was to die for and the service was out of this world. I have never had food like, it was that good i am coming back to Leeds in March with 7 friends and we are going to Bibi's and my mum and her husband are coming to Leeds in May. The only thing i would say is that you can't book and when you have a large group you can wait a while however it's worth the wait...

Bibis is a lovely restauarant and the staff are great but the food is not a s good as people say. If this place was dull and had not had millions of pounds spent on it, it would never last as a top restaurant in my opinion. Food needs improvement big time.

we have eaten in the new Bibi's a few times now, and think it is a 'cut above the rest' when it comes to restaurants in Leeds. The decor is amazing, very Vegas-y & showtime and what more could you want on the weekend that you savour so much, is to sip champagne or cocktails in a packed bar with friends! food is excellent every time, never just a one-off (unlike certain city square venues) and the staff are always attentive. we love it, and can certainly see what all the fuss is about!
