Unfortunately despite having a table booked for Tuesday 12 November at 7.30pm the restaurant was in darkness when we arrived (the floor was being revarnished apparently). I rang the next day to advise and was told that I would get a call back the day after that. A week later I have heard nothing. My husband and I are usually in this venue every Friday for drinks (for the past 7 years), I had my 40th birthday here and I have arranged a number of work Christmas parties here over the years including the cocktail experience. Due to the apathy of the staff in respect of customer service on this occasion when something has gone wrong I will never set foot in the place again.

We booked a table in the Vintage Restaurant for dinner on Saturday just gone. Had the Châteaux Briand to share. Just superb. After dinner we chilled by the bar with good company and chat. El was an amazing host who looked after us along with a beautiful smart, smiling team. It was an absolute pleasure to be there, hense why we stayed all night. El, if you read this, thank you again. I had the beef bourguignon and my husband had the biltmore classic burger. The beef bourguignon was one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted, and the burger was lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I never leave reviews but felt compelled to after visiting today. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely blonde lady, who did not seem phased by 6 of us with 6 babies and their pushchairs! We were thoroughly looked after instead of being made to feel a pain! Thanks again!

My partner and I were having a well deserved break in Yorkshire and loved the warm welcome we received from all. On recommendation, we visited The Biltmore Bar And Grill for cocktails (highly recommended) and after perusing the menu decided to have Fillet steaks as our main course after a light starter - possibly a dessert after!!! After ordering our cocktails we were absolutely astounded and disgusted that the barman and the manager both took a drink . (through a straw)" to see if it tasted right" . If a bar proclaims to be a "Cocktail Bar" surely they should employ people who know what they are doing - or train them to the high standard they wish to portray Needless to say we left without eating as the thought of our steaks having a 'bite' out of it before we were allowed to eat it turned our stomachs. Needless to say we will NEVER visit this establishment again and will Never recommend it to anyone.

40-and-proud!

My friends and I booked in for the Champagne Tasting School and it was absolutely fantastic. I'd never done anything like it before and was extremely impressed, not only with the knowledge our host had to offer but also with the excellent customer service. We loved it that much we stayed for lunch (ordered another few bottles of Champagne, obviously) and were back for more at 9:30 pm! We'll definitely be heading back there again. A huge thank you to everyone at the Biltmore for a truly wonderful day.

Had lunch at the biltmore on saturday 21st April, the food,service and atmosphere was fantastic, well worth the cost. Staff put balloons on the table for our birthday celebration at the last minute, nothing was too much trouble.

I booked the Biltmore Bar & Grill cocktail master class followed by a meal for my sister's hen night, booking was easy and contact was also easily made. Unfortunately to pay the deposit took 3 phone calls as there was a problem at their end with a card machine but we got there in the end! Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely chap called Matt who poured our party of 11 a glass of bubbly and explained the 3 cocktails he would be teaching us, he also took our details for our restaurant booking. We each got a turn making a cocktail and had an absolute ball! Customer service from Matt was great and he really worked hard to make sure we were all having fun and all included. The Hen was very pleased with her treat and I speak for the whole party when I say it was even better than we expected! An issue did arrive when we had finished the cocktail making, first our restaurant booking didn't exist, then person who had booked it with me via email had not put it into the diary, then we were told that tables would be re-arranged to accommodate us on the basis that the bride-to-be removed her veil. Although it was annoying that the booking was not in place and that no dress code had been previously issued to us for the restaurant we were happy to wait for a table to be arranged for us and even paid for another round of cocktails whilst we waited. 45 minutes later we were still waiting and when approached the concierge stated that our missing booking was "really not her problem", I explained that we would be taking our custom elsewhere as we had waited too long. I was really sad that this put a dampener on what began as a great experience, I would highly recommend the cocktail master class to anyone and the bar staff were lovely but to have such an attitude on your front of house staff is highly unfortunate and lost them a large booking.

Myself and 47 other ladies visited the Biltmore Bar and Grill on the 1st October for cocktail making lessons! The occasion was my lovely sister's Hen Party. I had arranged this event online with Stephanie who had been brilliant from day one! We arrived at this beautiful Bar to be greeted by a lovely surprise glass of bubbly! We split into 4 groups of12 and we were all given lessons in the art of cocktail making! Each group was hosted by a lovely member of staff and to say we had a good time would be a very big understatement. I can strongly recommend this great experience to everyone!, it is fun, informative and above all else presented by staff whose customer service is second to none! Thank you to everyone at Biltmore Bar and Grill for getting my sister's Hen Party off to such a lovely start!

Booked a table for approx. 16 people for a 'Works Do'. Stephanie very helpful in the organisation of this! Especially as we had a few 'drop outs' and changes to our pre orders. As ever, (I'm a bit of a regular customer), great food and service. Warm welcome when we all arrived. Looked after very well by Euan (again!). Great place!
