Tonight went to this chippy been a customer here for 17years, in that time varied sometimes good sometimes fair.Tonight our fish and chips were uneatable,fish small all batter over burnt hardly any fish inside and chips over burnt and not real chips just bits. Very Upset.

Again , just returned from our 42th annual visit to Blackpool . We have been experiencing this excellent food since the owner just had one shop. All my family love it there, everyday of our holiday we have our evening meal in Bispham Kitchens. It's clean, staff are always very polite and helpful, including greeing you at the door,brilliant food always lovely and fresh. Can't praise it enough! Lainy

Discovered this place by accident 3 years ago and now insist on going every year when we stay in the area. The food menu is wonderful...plenty of options(even my fussy child finds something!). The desserts are out of this world! its a friendly place, with great staff...prices are great..think for 4 of us to eat, have dessert and drinks we paid about 35 pounds. Best place to eat when your in that neck of the woods!

just been again-haddock fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. Batter was light , crispy and thin enough with no sloppy layer underneath. The chips were out of a recipe book, not greasy, hand cut and crisp outside with a soft interior of very nice taste, obviously the best potatoes for the job, well researched!. The mushy peas were heavenly, just the right taste and moistness. My pot of tea and the latte coffee were lovely, all in all with excellent quick service and pleasant staff the best fish and chips in Blackpool in my opinion, thank you.

Whenever we go to Blackpool we always head here. The fish and chips are fantastic value for money + if you are not a fish lover there is always something else on the menu -mall great tasting and the breakfast is out of this world. We recommend it to family and friends all the time - we shall be there again shortly when we have a weekend away.

I highly recommend Bispham Kitchen as there food is simply delicious. No matter what your preferences are, Bispham Kitchen really does have something for everyone. Their fish is what many would class as close to perfection, their chips are clearly made with care and the cooks clearly know how to get the balance between greasy and dry just right. I have already recommended it to a few, each of which have agreed that Bispham Kitchens food is delicious.

Main meals - disappointing. A promising menu but last time I was there the vegetables were over-cooked and too much salt had been added to the cooking. All of us in my party thought that the food was insufficiently hot. Visual presentation is good.
Desserts - excellent. Hot desserts are good and the cakes are enormous. A chocolate eclair makes a standard spectacles case look very small; individual custard tarts are about the diameter of a CD.
Portions - large. Takeaway boxes are available on request for those who are unable to finish their meal.

My impression is that management don't want to spend money. The staff were over-worked and barely had time to breathe. Most seem to be students. They take the brunt of any complaints and do their best to sort things out, but they don't seem to have managerial support.

The Bispham Kitchen appears clean and smart. Customers collect their own cutlery from one of the 'stations' in the seating area; staff don't always have time to check that there is an adequate supply. Napkins are smart and printed with the name of the restaurant; however they seem to be rationed and are not made available with the cutlery.
Over all
Recommended for desserts; main meals are good but don't live up to expectations provided by the menu or the general 'feel' of the place. The best option appears to be fish and chips. Staff are generally helpful and happy, but overworked and rushed.
