Service was very good no long waiting from one course to the next. My colleagues had the sea bass and assured me it was divine. I had the steak which was cooked medium to perfection starters were nice and very tasty. I would highly recommend this venue plus the puddings were Delicious. Plus we had our table for over two hours with no pressure to hurry up. Well worth going to

To the Manager,
I wish to give positive & negative feedback, I visited your restaurant yesterday 10th Feb 2013, under the name Karen Long - 4pm,X3. The food was good quality, but I was suprised to see the bread was stored in a large plastic clear box, normally used for storage use. The main meal and desert were of good quality. My main concern was the lack of interest the waitresses had with service, almost ever contact we had with the waitresses was poor, lights being turned low whilst eating, without candle being lighted on our table, drinks being put across my sister as she was eating, there was a general lack of care. Also being informed we had to be finished by 5:45 as soon as we sat down, this made me feel unwelcome. I do not wish to be offered any discount or apoloigy as I will not be visiting your restaurants again. Also when leaving the restaraunt my party of three walked passed X4 members of staff & not one said thankyou or goodbye. Very disappointing visit to a nice resturant.

My favourite restaurant in Liverpool
The lunch menu served until 4 o'clock
Excellent value £8.95 for 3 courses 7 days a week
The menu changes daily so would never be bored
Always plenty of choice & freshly cooked
Always busy but service can never fault

Last time I set foot in Church House it was still operating as the Church HQ and as a regular meeting place for seminars and routine social work or health work related conferences etc - that was in "Fish n Chips" days(google it)*. Having been away from Liverpool for a few years now I had no idea it had been converted into Bistro Franc's. This time we were en route to see the Katona Twins at Great George's Hall (missing the England v Ukraine match in the process), got to the Bistro late and had to leave early before having our desserts. On the way back after the concert we couldn't get the thought of those exquisite desserts out of our minds and so went back and asked if we could finish our meal by having dessert. The place was empty and not far off closing but the staff immediately led us to a table and served desserts plus a complimentary coffee.
We're both Francophiles but we've never eaten French food that good anywhere in France or anywhere else for that matter. Makes you proud to be a scouser. Paul & Liz

We decided to eat out in town after dropping our daughter back at college on Duke street last Thursday evening and had thought about trying 'The Hub'. It looked really packed so we went into Bistro Franc and were immediately shown to a table even though it was quite busy and we hadn't booked. The ambience in the restaurant is lovely, the lighting is just right and the waiter and waitress gave us just the right amount of time to make our minds up on what to eat and drink. We went for the £11.95 pre theatre menu and I have to say we were so glad the Hub was packed!! We both had goats cheese to start - which had a lovely taste. For mains, Husband had the salmon pasta which had plenty of salmon in and I went for the seabass. Although it was quite a small piece it really was quite enough with all the lovely vegetables added. The food was fresh and hot and very tasty. We finished off with a chocolate and orange cheese cake and eton mess - which was huge!! The merlot wine was to die for and all in all we had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours. We enjoyed it so much we are thinking of taking all our family back there to celebrate my Husband's 50th birthday in July. Go - you won't be disappointed.

On Saturday 23rd July me and 10 of my girlfriends enjoyed a really fabulous day in Bistro Franc, the food was marvellous and the service was exceptional, we all commented on the great atmosphere, which is probably why we stayed so long... we were in the restaurant for most of the afternoon and everyone had a really special time, we can't wait to go back!

I would not recommend this restaurant in a million years! The food was awful. It definitely was not freshly cooked and it had very little flavour. One member of our party had to send back their starter as there was no meat on the pigeon and my husband had to send back his steak twice as they couldn't cook it as he had asked for, medium-rare. We did politely complain to the manager, but she was rude and advised us that the steak was cooked correctly and it was us that didn't know what medium-rare was!! I have never begrudged paying for a meal as much as I did here. Never ever go there. It's a waste of money and a waste of your time.

My partner and I went to this shambles of a restaurant last night, the food was terrible for starter my partner had mushroom soup and she said it seemed like it was out of a tin, we had duck for main and it was so hard the knife could barely cut through it, we then reluctantly asked for dessert hoping for some remittance but after asking for the creme brulee and crepes, after 5 minutes of thinking we would be getting food soon a waiter came to tell us there was no creme brulee and we would have to have something else, we changed that for profiteroles, it was all rubbish, the price was nearly £60, i was grinding my teeth whilst paying through them for a car crash of a tea, still one thing i could say good for them is that the complimentary fruit salad sweets at the end were very nice
