We are regular customers at Bistro Pierre. We came on Sunday 4. 20 pm the resturant was empty apart from tables at the front being taken, we were told by the waiter we could not have a table till after 6-30 pm. Yet friends of ours who had not booked arrived at 5.30 pm and were taken to a table!! Very disappointed in the service and the waiter showed no customer service what so ever

I booked your restaurant for a group of 16 on 16 Octoberfor a birthday celebration, whilst we all agreed the food was great one of our guests however was slightly delayed in traffic and arrived 30 mins after we arrived. I have just found out that one of the waitresses informed him he would have to hurry up and order his food as we only had the table for 2 hours! I was not at any time told that we only had the table for a limited time as i would not of booked if this had been the case. we did however leave by 9pm but I am disapointed that this was said to one of my guests as he said he felt under pressure and did not therefore enjoy his dining experience as i have eaten at your restaurant many times and had said how friendly the staff were. This has left a bitter taste to be honest and I do not know if I will return again.

After visiting Bistro Jacques dozens of times, decided for a change. Visited in April with my son and ordered the" lunch rapide". Ordered the same dishes I normally have at BJ's. Sorry guys, BJ's wins. My main was smaller, not hot and slightly overcooked, My son had chicken nuggets, chips and beans, which was served looking as though it had been sat under a hot plate for a little too long, (you know, that shrivelled, glazed look) although it was not hot enough. I did not realize I was also entitled to a dessert as part of the offer and no one reminded me. However, the staff were so lovely, we did not complain, we just ate, still gave a decent tip (how could we not!) and left. Maybe we will visit again some time as staff and surroundings still great so would like to give you another chance. In the meantime, sticking with your big brother BJ's

I was visiting Liverpool on business and was dining out with a number of colleagues. I normally only drink Yorkshire tea (or maybe PG Tips) but I had a cherry beer followed by a chocolate beer in the Bier Keller. I was then ready for the Bistro Pierre! This place is great. A cosy spot with atmosphere and really enjoyable food. The young staff was personable and made us feel welcome. We all chose from the specials for our main course and they were all outstanding. The service couldn't be faulted, speedy but unobtrusive, so we felt this was a reasonable price in Liverpool, and we would certainly recommend the restaurant. They also offer a fine selection of wines but do not serve Yorkshire tea or PG Tips...but then again you can't expect everything !

I have been to Bistro Pierre many, many times. No matter what time of year the food, service and ambience never falters. BP is excellent value for money. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

i have just been 2 bistro pierre on Saturday night (9th oct) and i was so amazed by absolutely everything!
The decor was just right, the food was devine and the service was spot on - considering that it was so busy, the staff were so polite and efficient. All i can say is that me and my husband had a delightful evening and will definitely recommend it to family and friends. will see you soon bistro pierre...10/10 for everything!

Absolutely fantastic Bistro - ambience (just right), friendly and helpful staff, tasty food - right in the heart of the city and just off Mathew St - couldn't have been bettered. We all loved it and will be back soon. We had a hugely enjoyable evening there - don't change a thing!

Unlike the abundance of previous bloggers enthusing avidly about the Bistro Pierre experience I am not compelled to wax lyrical about
the place. Imbued with quasi-french ambience it may be but sadly the fare was not so appealing. My partner and I were dished up an awfully salty peppercorn sauce over poor quality chicken ; dry and stringy.Undercooked carrots julienne and limp red cabbage. Told the waiter the whole truth, (not his fault but he did ask.) With two half lagers we coughed up £19.50..wont be returning anytime soon.
