Tucked away in the rolling Lancashire countryside, the Black Bull Inn at Old Langho, near Blackburn, started life as a coaching inn back in 1555. After four lengthy refurbishments the property has been completely transformed, retaining its original features whilst adding contemporary details, with luxurious furniture, warm lighting, an extensive patio, magical sheltered Pavilion and artificially grassed beer garden overlooking the tranquil Ribble valley. The focal point is the beautifully restored Fire Barn restaurant, created out of an abandoned barn with a large bespoke log burner, pendant antler chandeliers and heavyweight velvet curtains all set against the original stone walls and vaulted oak beamed ceiling. The Black Bull Inn is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner serving fresh, seasonal and hearty food.
