Lovely old pub in the village of Broughton which I love. Food well presented and pretty good. Service was good but understaffed for the hot sunny day. The place is clearly making an effort.

Cider lover
Famous for it's own brewed cider. We had a lovely meal and finished it off with a glass of cider each.
My wife and I, coming from Somerset, are cider experts - my wife rates The Old Black Cock Inn cider as a heavenly experience.
