Fairy tale pretty thatch roofed pub at the foot of the picturesque Quantock hills. Reasonably priced menu makes the most of local produce - Quantock rabbit, Village reared pork, Triscombe pheasant, local russet apples and blackberries from the hedge across the road! I can recommend the roast wood pigeon with creamed Savoy, cider potatoes and a little pigeon pie, and the sticky ginger ale cake with butterscotch ripple ice cream. Top notch.
