I went to Blue Mango's Sunday buffet and I have honestly never been treated so badly by a restaurant before. When we arrived it was a ghost town, which should have sent alarm bells ringing but I decided to give them a chance. The food was mediocre to say the least and very limited choice for a buffet. After finishing our first plate I asked the waiter if we could have clean plates and was promptly told no that I would have to use the same plate if I wanted to return to the buffet. I didn't like the korma that I had on my first plate enough to see it mixed in with another food so I decided not to get anything else. We got up and left and paid a total of £28 for two plates of watery food, two poppadoms, a glass of juice, a glass of water and a rude waiter. I complained to the manager, was laughed at and told "You can't please everyone". Who can blame him for laughing really, when I'd just forked over £28 for cheap bland food and poor service.

We have been visiting this restaurant since it opened in Dec 2006 and have found the food and service to be consistently very good, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

This is a truly fantastic place (2nd Visit) - and one I would go to again and again. The food tastes excellent, we had a banquet which gave us the chance to taste several different dishes and there wasn't one we didn't enjoy, and nothing left at the end. The owner is a really nice man who likes to engage with the customers and his staff are a credit to him and the restaurant. They are polite and friendly and make you feel really comfortable. I look forward to my next visit which will be before xmas.
Snazzy
Very disappointing, Very busy, waited ages. starters of puri, soggy dough. The meat and fish in main courses were all a different temperature to the sauces suggesting that meat and sauces are cooked separately and plated up as required and not cooked and marinated together. finally a waiter dropped a drink on me, very little apology and no offer of any recompense. Not impressed.

This is a really special restaurant. The service from all the staff is exemplary. The food - well it just speaks for itself. Although it is a large room, it is nicely furnished and decorated, with some interesting art, that changes periodically. The menu is a rich mix of traditional favourites - Chicken Tikka masala, lamb Rogan Josh and the like, to some really exciting departures involving duck, monkfish and tuna. The staff will help you to decide and offer all sorts of 'off menu' variations of you are struggling / willing to experiment. The side dishes are well worth trying. There is a fairly extensive wine menu which is reasonably priced.

this is an exceptional Indian restaurant. The whole dining experience is marvelous from start to finish.
The setting is contemporary but cosy and the service attentive without being overbearing. The owner making special effort to speak to each guest himself.
The menu is extensive and offers something different for everyone with a wide selection of seafood dishes not usually found in an Indian restaurant side by side with more traditional offerings. You will probably never need another restaurant again!
The Blue mango is quite rightly very popular and booking is required - especially at weekends.
